Well to be fair, this Grizzlies team has beat the Warriors, the Heat, Orlando, Phoenix, Mavs among others. So they are are not as bad as their salary suggests and they probably play their ass off to earn their spot and bag.But that being said, we can’t call ourselves contenders if we can’t beat those teams.

Man, Brook is really frustrating to me. Dude is a giant and he takes only five 2 point shots all game. Yet he launches nine 3s and only makes two. People say he spreads out the court for Giannis, but does he really? He’s only shooting 34% from 3. That’s not that good to be launching 9 threes. Bobby shoots better than that from distance. Brook is like 7’1″ 290 but plays so much smaller on the offensive end, and honestly plays kinda soft to me.
Also, his defense is severely overrated. Yes he gets blocks. But he forces us to play only one way – drop coverage. And he’s just too damn slow I feel he actually hurts us more than he helps us sometimes. Granted, the backup bigs aren’t good at defense either, but no way should Brook ever be in conversation for DPOY imo.
