Wolves Fastbreak: Minnesota dominates from start to finish in win over Portland
Welcome to this Timberwolves fast break I’m Mary gner with Rebecca Brunson the Timberwolves have won a fourth consecutive game tonight 128 to 91 over the Trailblazers in Portland I mean it it was throughout this entire game Anthony Edwards was shining right he had 13 points in the first quarter and then
When it got to the third quarter when he really needed to turn it on he did it again with 15 points in that quarter just being aggressive getting downhill getting to the paint picking his shots again you see it here he had 18 points in the paint not settling for anything
Difficult we talk about his array of moves you saw that on display again the pull up from the screen from n for the three ball I mean he just was effective throughout the entirety of this game and he’s been this way throughout this win streak that the wolves have been on
Throughout the last six he’s had three 30o games a 41-point game last game they’ve played Portland so he’s been on a roll put up 34 tonight look at the Timberwolves defense holding Portland to 91 points and 37% shooting Chris Finch has this team playing really well
Again you know it feels like we have that kind of that Swagger back that we had before Christmas you know or up to that point in time um uh you know it’s all again it’s defensive lead but we now have like offensive kind of purpose and everyone’s really kind of contributing
There so it does feel like we’ found a whole another gear um but you know we just got to maintain it after the break now I mean there’s a you know a bunch of games I think we have seven back to backs and we do we do have a bunch of
