Experience like overall for you uh it was great just being coach by a legend and you know just being out there and taking some of his advice was cool I got to know what it was like for you going into the locker room seeing that Jersey

On the on the hanger like being a getting a chance to put it on for the first time just what what was that like for you um it was surreal just seeing the Jersey there and you know it was hanging with my last name on it and you

Know that’s what I put on my hard work in to uh to be here today do you ever think Junior NBA queso would be in this opportunity right now uh not at all but I’m I’m very glad and I’m very thankful that I’m here you had some kind of words

For kids that would be in that position about the the work ethic uh that they need to have can you just maybe reflect a little bit on what you would get cross to to those kids if you were you know giving them a good piece of advice um

Just going the gym and and just play really you don’t have to have a trainer to be one of the best players in in the world um just go in there have fun and to be free I think you you set a screen in the rising stars game I’m not sure

That’s ever been done before uh what was your mindset out there uh it was just within the flow of the game um I want somebody else to to score the ball the moment so hey that’s that’s the easiest way to get a Bucky just really relax out

There just regular like hoop you say hoop s but is this really relaxed uh not not as relaxed as I thought it would be it was a little more you know intense uh we were playing catch up the whole game so shoes that’s a big talking point this

Weekend especially at the uh crossover how they feel uh they feel great I’ve been wearing KDs all year so um I’m glad these were in my locker but I like a rock and then walking into the locker room I and then on to the court was like

Playing with just a bunch of other guys from previous two drives uh it was great it was um a different you know Vibe out there everybody feel like they the guy from the last two drafts so just being able to go out there and share that

Moment J this might kind of seem like a dumb question but why do you think you were selected to be a rising star um I feel like I’ve been playing well on a on a very good team and I feel like all teams and players have been you know

Noticing my presence and then yeah to that point you’ve been impacting team success I guess how much are you looking forward to getting back and reconnected with the team here after getting a chance to take a few days off and getting back to that work that you guys

Have been doing uh it’ll be great cuz I mean everybody’s talking about the jobs not finished and how we’re going to come back and have more juice than before you’re looking forward to the break definitely you got anything playing uh go back to Dallas and just enjoy myself

Speaking of D um have some friends from Dallas and they said the big thing about Dallas is the chicken and this Henderson’s williamg which one which is the best one uh K rubies did you get a chance to see any of the previous game before you guys

Went on uh yeah I saw Chad dub what’ you think I like Chad windmill I I don’t know if I seen him do that before I was like wow they were like God down like I I a never seen it yeah that was cool you like how you beat it

Tonight you’re known for the corner threes in the rookie season you really knock one down uh yeah well I knocked two down but the other ones wouldn’t fall yeah but yeah it was fun just being out there I don’t know if Daniel asked this on the food topic if you could

Bring one restaurant open in the city doesn’t have what would you bring probably Pluckers I like wings yes yeah whatav lemon pepp yeah do you guys got any plans to attend Shay’s game tomorrow I would not be here I would be watching some Dallas do you feel like you’ve arrived

Just a little bit being in this type of atmosphere playing in this game tonight um I feel like I’ve achieved one of my uh goals that I’ve set but my ultimate goal no not yet I I have a lot more work to be do obviously playing against some of

These guys coming up to the draft next year if you talk to them or anybody else in this next class like what advice would you give them that you wish you would have known go into the draft process um don’t worry about your situation there somebody else’s

Situation um there’s a lot of players that were drafted high and not on a good so or on a not so good team and some that weren’t drafted you know as high but they’re on a winning team and a great organization so don’t look at everybody’s don’t look at everybody else
