If you’re a Pistons fan, I recommend visiting this little nook carved out of the Detroit Historical Museum at some point before summer hits (exhibit lasts until June 23rd). In fact, the historical museum as a whole is an altogether fun and affordable venture.

I’m not sure how to put descriptions under my photos in a post so I’ll do that here:
1. For anyone around 33 or older, it’s probably a bit of a gut punch to see NBA 2K5 officially considered an artifact fit for a museum.
2. A literal piston from Fred Zollner’s piston coropration
3. A custom Detroit Raiders t-shirt, one of 25 printed. Below to the left, a tape cassette single by Billy Miller and Stu Chapin-Zonder; a track not to be confused with [“Pump It Up Pistons”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_BycvPzC3Q). I can’t find the Billy Miller track anywhere online but you can listen to it at the museum.
4. Rip Hamilton’s mask
5. Rasheed Wallace’s championship belt
6. The shoes worn by Vinnie Johnson on the night he earned his Microwave moniker in 1985
7. The Pistons’ 1989 championship trophy, with roster engravings included
Nephews n this sub cant fuck w any of this.
Such great memories, thx for sharing
