It honestly blows how much he’s dropped off this season. He was actually super serviceable last year and played his ass off. I didn’t hate the 2 year extensions at the time but now it just looks like somewhat of a waste. At least it’s only 2 years and tradable next season, I guess, but I really wanted him to progress as our backup C
Collins has stunk this season, but at this point unless he hits 4 threes in a game ppl are gonna say he was garbage no matter what
Last night he had 4 assists in 17 minutes and was good running a 2 man game with Devin.
He’s not super long and he doesn’t jump well so he gets scored on at the rim a lot, but he’s more often than not in the right place on defense. That matters
The guy is hot garbage but he’s shooting 25% from three since Dec 1st. Still terrible but knew that couldn’t be right. He is 6.8% since Xmas (2-29), which is on par with a crippled blind man.
This is honestly unacceptable. Definitely time to move on. I doubt anyone wants him, but I would help pack his bags.
Yesterday he was so pouty when he got subbed in the 4th I think, and it just angered me. Like at least show leadership when you’re playing like a total donkey.
i don’t know how Barlow hasn’t earned that backup spot and/or full season contract.
He’s one of the main reasons why the Spurs are where they are. Like yeah, they weren’t going to be good, but how many close games against solid competition have the Spurs lost? All these single digit losses vs the Bucks, Kings, Magic, Heat, Clippers, Warriors, etc. Can you imagine what the outcome might’ve been like had Collins were to at least not be as bad as he has been?
I really hate to pile on just one guy, cause honestly this roster has so many flaws, however everybody thought that Zach was gonna be a very bright piece to have going forward and especially a great pair for Wemby’s first few seasons. So far he’s been hurting the team way more than helping and I really hope he can get back to being a productive player soon cause the Spurs desperately need somebody/anybody to step up.

4.3% is honestly higher than I expected I can’t remember him hitting a single 3 pointer since he came back from injury
We should just cut him in offseason. Pay him to stay home. Like at this point I’d rather have Branham be back up center coz he’s Ass on defense too but would at least hit 25%+ of his 3s. Ain’t no one gonna give any value for Zach aside from last pick of the 2nd round and even that’s a reach. I know Barlow is limited on main roster games but send Zach to the fucking g league or have him DNP (Learning Chinese) already
I honestly think that he just hasn’t been the same since his injury. He plays like he’s too scared to jump and reinjury himself. I thought he was going to be serviceable once Poeltl was traded but just hasn’t been the same since last year.
