Matt Barnes got fired you’re out of here man Matt Barnes is a former NBA player and the host of all the smoke podcast and he was working with NBC sports that was until he got fired here’s what happened Matt Barnes sons was playing a big- time high school

Basketball game the call did not go their way when that happened the crowd went crazy one of the people who was in the crowd was Matt Barnes he came out of the stands went to the sideline and was yelling at the refs then for some reason

He made his way over to the media section where he put his hand on the shoulder of a student announcer then other adults had to intervene and Matt Barnes walked away from the media section now afterwards everybody wanted to know what happened the student announcer says that allegedly Matt

Barnes said that he was going to slap the hell out of him Matt Barnes says that the student announcer was saying sit your ass down and Matt Barnes wanted to know why did he think that he could speak to a grown man like that now of course both of these guys are saying

That the other ones are lying and even Matt Barnes spoke out and said that he did regret even putting a hand on the student announcer shoulders but the only thing that come from the incident is Matt Barnes is now out of a job he’s removed from Sacramento TV in NBC Sports

Sacramento Kings broadcaster Matt Barnes has been dismissed following an incident with a high school announcer at his son’s basketball game. Barnes was complaining to referees and apparently the protest went too far. The Sacramento Bee described the exchange:

Barnes apparently tried to cover his actions by blaming the high schooler, but video of the event does not align with Barnes’ explanation.

    He probably was disrespecting him. Some kids want to act like adults but then when it's the other way around they want the victim. Kids are thinking they grown

    I believe Matt tell you the truth but he should have known you don't put your hands on somebody's child or be a black man and put your hands on somebody white and expect for them not to get rid of you it's not fair but it's unmarked rules I'm not making this up I lost the highest paying job I had because I parked in a white man's parking spot even after I apologize and he told me everything was okay and fine next thing I know the office got wind of it and all of a sudden I'm laid off not even a week later

    what I think is that the kid would probably grow up entitled because you are empowering him to say things about a grown man and get away with it. only in America is this a big deal having a grown man put his shoulder on a male teenager. wow. what a stupid country, now wonder people shoot in schools there coz you turn sane people to insane.

    That kid should’ve definitely threw an uppercut. Can you say ChaChing??? Matt definitely would have made a terrible, lifelong decision that would’ve been very costly, and that young man’s career would have all the funding he needs to become a broadcaster lol

    No actual context here. If this guy was the coach of a basketball team or something this would be second nature. As it reads to me, it's an adult establishing a bond in trust and giving creative critism, or engaging in a moment of enlightenment from a teacher to a student. Upon hearing about this and actually watching it I was expecting something more. A hand on a shoulder shouldn't get a man fired. Plus, he has been a professional for a long time now, providing platforms for individuals to express themselves in an open and honest space. Society is bugging right now

    I was once in a restaurant in San Diego and Matt Barnes was sitting across at a nearby table. For some reason, his kid had a ball and was bouncing it at their table. The kid lost control and bounced away and hit a woman in the head at a nearby table. The boy goes to get his ball and the lady tossed it back hard at the little boy, which caused him to cry. Matt gets up and proceeds to cuss the woman out. The dude is unhinged
