I see no reason we shouldn’t give Mamu a shot starting over Champagnie. He brings tons of energy and plays defense. Great cutter too.

  2. Feisty_Pride_1408

My friends: Why do you love the Spurs?

Me: I am fond of losing. Tee-hee 😭

  3. RowdyCollegiate

Sochan hugging the fuck outta them Jazz players

  4. Sorbetesman

I thought we’re going on a run at the end.

  5. Empty-Mall-1636

I wish Trae was a free agent this summer or next, I don’t want to give up picks.

  6. Zach needs to retire to greener pastures and pass the ball to Mamu.

  7. Timduncanthealrighty

I hope going forward Barlow and Mamu get playing time for the rest of the season. Hopefully Zach and Julian sit on the end of the bench

Somewhere in the flyover states is a 68 year old, who holds his HS career points record, watching Zach Collins play, and as a single tear rolls down his cheek he turns to his grandson, grabs his shoulder and says “See, now that’s basketball” as 17.5M/yr misses another post hook.

That win over the Raptors feels like a lifetime ago.

Nice bounce back game for Vassell. Vic with 3 straight games with 5 blocks. Only Shaq has done it before in the last 25 years. 20 turnovers was brutal and coupling that with allowing jazz to shoot 49% from three and making 12 out of 19 is the game. Not sure of why we were so disconnected in the beginning but hopefully we bring back the communication next game. Onto the next GSG.

  11. Empty-Mall-1636

God awful. I want Zach, Keldon, Malaki, Julian, and Cedi gone ASAP.

  12. Longjumping-Ad9298

I wonder how many will get mad if I say pop and his coaching staff are just as much of a problem as some of these players, wemby the only bright light rn

  13. TheSatanist666

The non-wemby minutes are just so hard to watch. They can’t do a single defensive stop.

  14. Empty-Mall-1636

Zach Collins should retire and become a bookshelf cleaner.

We’ll laugh about all of this someday… Hopefully, it’s when we’re in the Finals competing for our 6th title

Goods: Mamu showed out coming off the bench. Even Branham showed improvement from where he’s been the last month. Champagnie’s stroke looks like it’s returning to the form that landed him in the starting lineup. Another 5 block game from Wemby as these fools keep challenging him!

I’m trying to think of something else good
looks like Zach’s 3 is coming back around?

The Rest: So many turnovers! 6 in the first 5 minutes of the game? Wow.

Bad looks, forced shots and really rough nights from Johnson and Sochan.

Another “bad” Wemby game. But was it? This looked like one of those “can’t win with these fools” type games. But he did have 4 turnovers.

Tre Jones didn’t have a bad game, but I don’t know if I could call it a good game either. 9 ast w/ 3 tos, but his defense once again was exposed against a bigger, faster team.

Finally, Devin would have been the lone bright spot had it not been for so many turnovers. Even with 27, 6 TOs is way too many when you’re the primary ball handler and offensive focal point at times. He needs to play better.

It was the 3rd in 4 nights and also at altitude. It showed in their mistake riddled effort. Pop is going to get in that ass and hopefully they save some face on Tuesday against the Wolves to finish up.

    GSG.

i can’t believe i watched the whole game

  18. Kaelanna

Wemby and Mamu on the floor at the same time like Wemby and Collins was at the start of the year. It doesn;t have to be to start the game, maybe to start the second quarter

  19. AfroHouseManiac

Odds Will Hardy goes back to San Antonio once Pop retires ?

Also the defensive coverages coaches are starting to deploy on a rookie are so insane. Putting longer wings on him so a vertical threat 5 can spy on him. I saw KD, Lebron level interior coverage/shifts in this game against Wemby..

Wemby is going to ultimately revolutionize opposing teams lineups. Teams are going to run 5 out type of lineups during his peak so he can’t be near the paint. Teams are going to look for a boatload of 3 and D bigs. That’s why I think Alexandre Sarr goes first.

  20. Bonesawisready5

What happened with Keldon? 4 mins? DAMN, is he really in the dog house?

  21. the_alert

My biggest pet peeve this game was that elbow pnr between Vassell and Wemby. I started watching at the half and every time they ran it, it led to Vassell getting trapped by 2 or 3 bigs under the basket, and at 6’5, the kid couldn’t find the arena lights let alone a teammate. Victor draws a lot of attention, they were running that while the Jazz had at least 3 bodies ready to help if it was Wemby who attacked. Once it’s Vassell who runs into that mess it goes to shit.

Edit: Elliott had them play the one clip of it that resulted in an alley-oop and wouldn’t stop acting like that wasn’t the anomaly.

  22. Empty-Mall-1636

Michael Jordan couldn’t turn this squad around.
