I’d give it a few more games before I become “concerned” about his stats, but I am a bit concerned by his lack of energy.
He felt more engaged in his first game than the past 4 games.

You shouldn’t be worried if you expected this.
This is who he mostly is on offense. Every once in a while he will put up a good to great shooting game.
Forwards are mostly spot up shooters next to Luka, if he can’t hit the open 3 it will put a limit on our offense.
You can worry as much as you want, this is who the Mavs traded for and they won’t be dumping him anytime soon like Grant.
So get used to this as we have been forced to getting used to Kidd as the coach.

It’s going to take a bit more than 5 game for me to be concerned about his offense. The guy has played 5 years for a bad organization. He probably had a green light there and it’s going to take time to fit into a a system that is trying to be a contender. The 3 point shooting is a little concerning, but he has a 4 year history before this season of him being an ok shooter. I think we’ll start seeing improvement soon, but it’s tough cause teams don’t get much practice time during the season.

I don’t understand why everyone is obsessed with his offense, dude just locked up KD lol, he is fulfilling his role quite well. We do not need PJ to drop buckets

I know that people hate when people dump on THJ, but he really has an effect on this team (not a good one). With players like PJ, his mistakes and offensive miscues are only going to be magnified when a player like THJ gets more minutes than he deserves and brings down the rest of the team. His ineptitude even affects Luka’s play as you can tell by Luka’s body language after THJ screws up on a play. I’m perfectly ok with PJ, it’s THJ that we need to move to the back of the bench.
