Warriors being 2 is kind of a joke. They caught lightning in a bottle with this dynasty but once steph hangs them up it’s over

  2. emasslax22

All 4 Boston sports teams in the top 100 is baller. Give the fans the credit they deserve for this!

  3. Real Madrid at 19 and Barcelona at 23? I’m not a big soccer fan but cmon even I know they’re probably top 2.

  4. burner_for_celtics

Seeing the Redskins clock in at #11 after spending three decades among the saddest teams in professional sports is just staggering.

  5. Red Sox in top 20 but you’d never know it based on ownership’s spending

  6. atlasvibranium

Given how many sports teams there are in the *world* I love seeing all four Boston teams make it here

  7. Ok_Pineapple466

What the hell are the Houston Texans doing above Real Madrid?

  8. coacoanutbenjamn

And it will only get better if we win the chip this season

Part of the reason I’m confident that ownership will spend big for the team is the fact that the team value goes up by like $500 million per season these days. It’s worth over 10 times what they paid for it 22 years ago

  9. Not a soccer fan but how are there 0 clubs in the top 10?

  10. whats the source here? Yankees and Patriots were 2&5 for most of the late 2000s-mid 2010s (old top 5 was Cowboys, Yankees, Madrid, Man U and Pats) and i dont think the knicks (really Madison Square Garden itself) have ever been more highly valued than the Yankees, cool to see 3 boston teams in the top 25 tho.

  11. As a foreigner I can say: American markets are absolutely cracked, there are teams above certain Premiere League and La Liga teams, basically everybody in Europe or SA knows, which nobody has ever heard of in non-North America.

Looks like the NFL has a huge grip on whatever value they use as a source.

    8, 20, 22, 97

For everyone looking for all Boston teams

  13. celtsmaywin

How are the Raiders so high
I love the Raiders but they don’t even have a home!!

Nah because they aren’t franchises. You can get relegated and drop to the 2nd division league that has a worse broadcasting deal and worse money overall. Whereas in the NFL your guaranteed your cut of the revenue no matter how bad you are. It’s a safer investment

  16. celluloidsandman

ITT: people not understanding that a franchise’s value is dependent not just on its success (which of course it is, to some degree), but also its market size and history / brand, not to mention the size of its respective league (the NFL pulls in nearly double the revenue of any other league in the world, hence its over-representation)

  17. papabearsixtynine

Nice! Boston’s big four sports teams made the top 100.

Now we just gotta get the Revs in there, somehow…

  18. Mountain-Awareness13

Anyone care to type them out? I don’t recognise all the logos..

  19. Opening_Outside_5788

The best football team at 13° (and Man United ahaha)… thats for the Americans only .

    What a joke 😅

  20. FloweredWallpaper

Scuderia Ferrari at #71 is interesting.

  21. salemgh0st

And that’s why building a team that can win repeatedly is better than an old win now team. Golden State would be nowhere near second if they had only won once or even twice.

  22. Rednaxela623

Red Sox need to get better fast man. Idk wtf that owner is doing!

  23. CALlCOJACK

“Boston” also happen to be at 20 and 97

  24. StraightCashBND

I guess I get it, but it’s kinda funny to see pathetic shit like the Nets and Bengals right next to Arsenal and Chelsea. Barcelona below the Falcons? I’m sure it accounts for real estate value of the stadiums and that kind of nonsense, but it’s funny to see teams that perennially miss the playoffs ahead of soccer teams that buy and sell players for hundreds of millions of dollars.

  25. Why are these super rich F1 teams at the bottom of the list?

  26. Jokesiez

Why am I surprised that there are 4 shit NY teams in the top 10. Fanbase is full of folks who can’t afford shit constantly buying shit.

  27. PoppinfreshOG

The Jets are not worth more than Real and Barcelona, this list was made by a crackhead who thinks football is relevant outside of the US,

lol quick google search confirmed, didn’t even need to edit

  28. Pretty shocked to see GSW above so many big brands. Feel like in the next couple years their value will diminish greatly

  29. ParamoreFanClub

the warriors are so over valued like every thing else related to “tech”

  30. Adventurous_Seat_666

Real Madrid 19th this can’t be real

  31. Panoptech

Texans under 20 is wild considering they are still relatively new to the NFL.
