LeBron James on his son dropping in 2024 mock drafts: “Can yall please just let the kid be a kid and enjoy college basketball”

> Can yall please just let the kid be a kid and enjoy college basketball. The work and results will ultimately do the talking no matter what he decides to do. If y’all don’t know he doesn’t care what a mock draft says, he just WORKS! Earned Not Given!

Thought this was relevant given the amount of discourse here about Bronny’s prospects and LeBron’s future.

  1. Facts, but you gotta understand he’s your son it comes with it

  2. NeatTry7674

Wasn’t he the one saying he could play in the NBA a couple months ago? Lmao

  3. thepeachgod

I’m not sure Lebron understands how mock drafts work

  4. xerxesthagreat

overhyped his boy and said he can play in the league right now and has to backtrack when his boy is the worst player in one of the worst teams in the Pac-12. Super nasty work.

  5. HeckFamous1760

Can you let this college aged man enjoy college basketball??

  6. fieryscribe

If he doesn’t care what a mock draft says, how is anyone stopping him from being a kid and enjoying college basketball?

  7. CarryTheHellOn

Remember when he tweeted out Bronny was better than some of the guys he was watching in the NBA lmao

  8. Cvnilivee

Bro he created this entire scenario. Don’t blame them for doing their jobs lol

  9. DALE-YA-BO

He would have gotten media attention no matter what but LeBron definitely put more of a spotlight on him with some of his comments. Kinda made his own bed there

  10. I don’t generally care about mock drafts but I was told by a highly accomplished, future HOF NBA player that Bronny is a lot better than a lot of guys who currently play in the NBA so I’m a bit confused on this one.

  11. AirShoto

He put that on him, by constantly expressing his desire for his son to play in the NBA. also he said his son was better than some of the current NBA players.

We’re all trying to find the guy who did this

  13. No_Engineering_4925

We all tryna find who started this

  14. PM_ME_LADY_ANKLES

“We’re all trying to find the guy who did this”

    – Lebron James, probably.

Guys lebron isn’t good at accepting praise, he hates the spotlight! Please leave him alone

  16. TribalismChief

A father believing in his son is saying “yeah he can be a great player one day” a father doesn’t need to say “he’s already better than a lot of NBA players are right now”. Seems like so many people think the only way to be a good dad is to just over hype your son.

Zero self awareness a lot of the time this fella! And I’m saying this as someone who got properly into the NBA because of LeBron… But you constantly talking about how you want to play with the kid before you retire has brought on a lot of pressure that he doesn’t deserve! Come on man.

  18. TheLeoMessiah

I mean I get LeBron’s broader point but in this case ESPN is literally doing their job here. I don’t know what the complaint is about, they’re not giving unsolicited advice to Bronny or anything, just saying that due to reasons (many out of his control) they don’t think he’ll get drafted

  19. Sheratain

Lebron, for years: “My son will be playing in the NBA!!!”

Lebron now: “whoah whoah whoah who ever said anything about my son being in the NBA”

  20. RidiculousNickk

They’re removing him from mocks because they want him to continue being a kid enjoy college basketball for a couple more seasons! Why is he mad?

  21. Lebron James 3/6/2023 11:43PM

“Man Bronny definitely better than some of these cats I’ve been watching on league pass today. Shit lightweight hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣”

  22. ThisGuy6266

Can yall please just let the kid be a kid and enjoy college basketball until his stats are better and I go back to hyping him?

  23. epicgam3rsrise

LeBron when analysts are doing their jobs: 😡

  24. IAmCBOY2

This is why I can’t stand this guy, he literally just said his son is better than NBA players. Egotistical crybaby
