Hey guys what is going on Anthony here with pistons talk hope you guys are having a great day so far in today’s video wanted to talk to you guys about officiating NBA officiating um I’m usually not one to complain about uh Miss calls bad calls whatever it may be

Uh with these NBA officials but I’ve watched these past two Detroit Pistons games and there have been very questionable and note calls uh versus the Orlando Magic and last night against the New York Knicks now the first video I did want to play for you guys was the

Paulo Bank Carol buzzer beater with less than a second left now some people say it was a travel other people say that he had a he didn’t travel NBA came out with their last two-minute report saying that Paulo didn’t travel I’ll let you guys be

The judge on that and they do so as you guys can see last minute possession DL Duren is guarding him right now he goes to whever that is just hits a miracle last minute buzzer beater with point8 seconds left right um looked like he shuffled his feet looked like he traveled I don’t

Know some people saying that he did other people saying he didn’t let’s say the NBA calls a travel8 seconds left it’s a tie game maybe the Pistons win it maybe they hit a buzzer beater maybe uh they go in the overtime and win that game you really don’t know now last

Night last night to me um that whole like 30 seconds left um against the Nicks I thought there were two fouls on that play and I’m only going to show you the assar Thompson looked like fonio got fouled when he was grabbing a rebound um but they didn’t call that but the

Possession were a Thompson gathers the ball and is getting ready to run up the court youing Dante dienzo literally take assar Thompson’s knees out from under him and Josh Hart gets the n one right like Dante Devan chenzo literally just Roman Reigns them and speared them he speared

Them like I don’t even know what else to say NBA come out saying that they did miss the call on that there’s a referee right in front of the whole action he didn’t say anything he swallowed his whistle um and like just the whole situation of that last minute play it

Was just so so close and the Pistons were actually up one during that point they were up 111 110 and obviously we know you know Josh Hart gets filed makes the basket game over and Monty Williams ripped into to uh just the no call with his presser

Saying that was the worst call of the Season we’ve sent to the refs nothing I usually don’t say this cliche because I try to be you know fair to the officials whatever it is like Detroit versus everybody is a real thing it’s not even like a Pistons thing

Like this year the lions got screwed by the refs in Dallas because Taylor Decker didn’t report last night assar Thompson and the Detroit Pistons got screwed they could a won a game in New York by one point um and they let Dante Devan chenzo basically spear him like I I don’t know

Man like I I I think that the Pistons are getting screwed by the officials they really are I don’t want to hear that you know they have eight wins on this season you should officiate the games fairly it shouldn’t be such so much politics involved in it it

Shouldn’t be well you know they have eight wins they have to earn the respect from the officials I think that’s his BS in my opinion you should officiate the games fairly and I think that’s all the Detroit Pistons and Monty Williams and Kate Cunningham and you know the rest of

The Detroit Pistons actually want like officiate these games down the middle don’t play favoritism like Quinton grimon after the game if the roles were reversed and that was Jaylen Brunson getting tackled the refs would have blowing their whistle and I 100% agree with them I really do but wanted to hear

You guys’s thoughts on these past two games now one the Pao B Carol that play was like a 5050 do do you think it was a travel do you think it wasn’t and two last night the loose ball foul that did not get called against Dante D chenzo

    If NBA referees blow whistles based off of reputation (which we have heard over and over again about earning respect) then they are bias and playing favorites.
    Not other way to call it.

    This has been happening ALL season! Between us getting slapped going to the rim, or letting offensive players throw themselves into us for fake fouls it has gotten more egregious these past couple games. To make matters worse after the big no call rhe Knicks get an and 1 when Duren was inside the circle, and went straight up into the air with his hands straight up that should've been a no call.

    It’s amazing how the huge can rugby tackle Ausar and no whistle is called but Duren jumps straight up and the refs feel that was enough to blow the whistle for the Knicks to get an and 1

    Pistons winning is worth to much money refs got no choice but to get involved as much as possible to prevent those plus 540s from popping off

    Everyone is talking about Banchero travelling on the shot but missing where he changed his pivot foot when retreat dribbling after getting the ball inbounded to him. So he actually got away with 2 travels on that play

    I thought both were bad calls and both had a ball call on top of a bad call (with phantom fouls on Duren in both plays). For Banchero's shot, I was surprised Monty didn't challenge the foul, just to have them look at the shot and maybe retract their call and call a travel instead. If that was the case, then the Pistons would have gotten the ball back with 2 seconds to go.

    I remembers saying this early in the season after the pistons was 2-1, then went on the losing streak. They stop getting calls from the refs and was losing games on mostly free throws. You never going to win a game when your opponents is shooting 30-55% more Free throw attempts then you. And any leads you gain in games want stay around long due to the FTA they are getting.

    Adam Silver really needs to step up and deal with the ongoing problem of bad officiating once this season wraps up. We've seen our fair share of questionable calls leading up to this point, but this season has taken it to a whole new level. It's ridiculous how players are getting ejected for just showing a bit of emotion, and the number of missed calls and referees ignoring timeouts is just unacceptable. I mean, come on, watching Pistons games has been frustrating, especially that one against the Clippers on Feb 10 – we totally should've won that game. It's crystal clear we were the better team that night. But it's not just us; this is a league-wide issue that's really putting a damper on the sport. NBA refs need to step up, do their jobs fairly, and let the game play out the way it's supposed to.

    Finally Monty spoke up – way too late – but I'll give him credit for FINALLY standing up for his team. Now he needs to go out and get tossed on techs arguing the first bad call / no call the BS refs miss. Put the refs on notice that you're going to put them in the spotlight if they keep screwing us nightly. By the way, that wasn't just a "missed call" at the end of the Knick's game. Imagine of Ausar dove into Brunson's knees like that – all we'd be hearing is that it was a dangerous dirty play – but not a peep about how dirty that play was by Donte.
