Not sure what good HC is coming in the Nets offseason. Their oldest and highest paid player doesn't want to play basketball. They have a good young core under contract but are not very deep and don't have many good picks stashed so might be the best thing for Vaughn now he can go find a job that doesn't suck as much as being Nets HC right now

Go ahead and blame stars for not playing or not winning a championship as if there’s always a written rule in NBA land you can’t ever see the value in competing for a top 3 seed like Philly.
It’s so terrible to keep Kyrie and KD to give yourself a CHANCE at a top 3 seed. Because the Nets have really made a top 3 seed in the east 20 times in their history. It was really boring how many times the Nets made a top 3 seed in history that there was no value in it. Winning in the NBA is easy as let’s treat stars like robots, because that is what all of them are supposed to be, which is programmed to guarantee titles.
The Nets have done it so many times being a top 3 seed team in the east and have signed a boatload of top free agent stars in NBA history. They signed Karl Malone, Lebron James, Shaquille O’Neal amongst many other hall of famers in free agency.
They’ll really never have any problems signing top free agent stars. Let’s just let ego and perception get in the way of pure logic for the Nets historical ability to even just win big during the regular season. Yeah it makes a ton of sense, because it’s been so easy for the Nets in their 40 year history to be a top 3 seed team like it is for Miami or the Lakers
Fans are going to say “wait they play in NY and have lovable players.” As if as a fan you speak exactly how stars thinks. You think stars will care about the gm and owner being done wrong?
Get off your high horse and smell the coffee. Stars care more about if you are an elite level scoring talent, not just if you are likable and play in a big market. They care and are only serious about actually taking ACTION to come to a team and not TALK about interest to coming to a team when a team is a top 3 seeded team. That’s why keeping KD and Kyrie was a no choice “yes” for the Nets because they lucked into Kyrie being a Nets fan growing up. Nets would have gotten no other free agent star ever if they didn’t suck it up and keep KD and Kyrie.
Jaque vaugn isn't using Ben Simon's right at all he got him and bridges that's the best defense on the wing in the league but his dislike for Simmons clouded his judgements Ben still a triple double defensive machine play him at pg with thomas and bridges Johnson and Claxton that's a really good team especially on defense of bring Thomas off the bench as instant offense and start dfs at the 4 and put mikal bridges at the 2 Johnson at 3 that's a great team that can shoot and score and spread the floor for Simmons to drive vaughn was horrible
Sean Marks really made a mess of a roster trading for Ben Simmons. HOPEFULLY he's gone soon also
