People need to chill lol we lost to the giga stacked Cs on the road, not the end of the world, regroup and start getting some easy wins now. Go get that 6th seed, have a decent playoffs and keep building the team during the summer. We will be alright.

Losing isn’t the problem, it’s the way you lose. It’s obvious Kidd has a game plan and sticks to it regardless of what happends in the game. He doesn’t have the abillity to make in game adjustments.
Moreover it’s just ridiculous how some players have insane leashes, while others can’t make a single mistake. He was looking pissed after Hardy turned it over during garbage time, meawhile Tim has the longest leash in the entire league.
Also playing Maxi with 4 guards is ludicrious. Playing Tim as a POA defender is ludicrious, doing both in the same lineup…that might genuinely be braindead.
Kidd doesn’t learn from his mistakes, so guess what. We’ll see Tim again as POA defender. We’ll see Tim again with Maxi in a small ball lineup etc.

The only people complaining are those that thought this team was a championship contender because we routed an overrated okc team. There is levels to this game and we saw that last night. We are not on the same level as teams like Boston and Denver but that doesn’t mean we can’t make the playoffs or possibly get past the 1st round depending on the opponent.

You’re not the only one; it’s just that the doomers and overreactors are the loudest around here. Despite questionable coaching decisions in key moments, the Mavs have recently been playing some of their best basketball than they have in the past two seasons. A miracle 3 game-winner and loss to one of the most stacked teams in recent memory shouldn’t take away from the success the Mavs have had post-trade and with a healthy roster.
The standings are tight, and yes every game matters from here on out, but we’ve got a friendly schedule ahead of us and a chance to regain some footing in the seeding. Are we contenders? No, likely not—we aren’t there yet. But this is a good team trending in the right direction.

I’m not complaining at all about the team, you can’t beat that Celtics superteam without a lockdown defender or a reliable 3rd option especially when the make 22 3s on 55% & our 2nd star chokes
But the biggest problem is Kidd, only tank teams (& not all of them) got worse coaches than him. His rotations, offensive/defensive schemes & insisting on playing negative players big minutes is holding this team so much

Well, we didn’t just lose we kinda got destroyed. And yeah, it doesn’t mean the season is over by any means but it does, however, mean that we overhyped the real capabilities of this team after the deadline.

The problem is not losing, is losing with Maxi and THJ playing 20min while gafford plays 5

Losing to one of the best teams in the league at the end of a pretty bad road trip? Not a big deal.
Gafford seeing under 10 minutes however, is a travesty.

I don’t think so either, but the Jason Kidd part of the puzzle isn’t going to change or get better

I agree BUT… losing to over half court buzzer beater as well in same week.. abomination.
