AD gotta step it up against the Nuggets. Dude plays like he’s afraid of Jokic.

Defensively, he’s a beast but he didn’t do anything to stop Jokic or Gordon, two players who he spent the most time guarding.

Gordon outplayed him last game… how are the Lakers supposed to beat a team where AD is not even the 5th best player on the court?

For a series against the Nuggets, AD HAS to be at least the third best player. So far, it’s been Jokic > LeBron > Murray > and sometimes it’s AD but other times it’s Gordon, MPJ, or Reaves.

Nobody can guard Jokic but if AD doesn’t get aggressive and get him in foul trouble, the Lakers aren’t beating the Nuggets. It’s unfortunate the Lakers don’t have a big with mass and the ability to play dirty against Jokic like Dwight because AD is clearly giving up size to Jokic. Even then, it doesn’t explain how Jokic is getting so many easy baskets and how on the opposite end of the court, AD is settling for jumpers and stepbacks. Every shot the Lakers took at the closing minutes of last night’s game were difficult shots. Almost every shot the Nuggets took were easy shots. That explains why we always lose to the Nuggets despite a close game overall.

AD soft as charmin. Dudes got all the talent in the world and zero drive. You either have the kill ‘em all mentality or you don’t. And he clearly doesn’t.

You could be an all time great, AD. And you’re just “good”.

  5. I love AD but he really has to overcome these euro bigs that get him off balance w their size. We’ve seen it w jokic and saw it a week ago w nurkic. AD removes himself from games when this happens

LeBron each game will break the record for points btw

The weight difference is huge, it’s like having Garnet or Tim guarding Shaq, as simple as that.

AD hasn’t stepped up vs Jokic yet, how can we build anything around a dude who won’t even demand the ball and relies on a 40 year old. He’s not a 1, we need a go to player and a superstar who can carry us and not a 40 year old. Not fair to Lebron either but that’s on the lakers franchise

ESPN: AD is fed up with losing under LeBron.
