I Don’t Wanna See Anyone Blaming Thibs. Injuries happen randomly.

I hate that he gets a bad rep every single time he gives players too many minutes or too little minutes or a random injury happens.

  1. It’s all part of the game it’s just amazing how lightning strikes us so many times. We finally had shit good.

I was one to like players playing and not blaming Thibs on the injuries… before this one

  3. sillyshoestring

What was Brunson doing out there with 47 minutes remaining in a 2 point game? Clearly garbage time.

  4. ChiefHunter1

Honestly injuries can also just be a product of guys playing hard and that’s still something you want

Yeah yeah yeah keep playing 7 players per game. You see what happened to DRose and he does this again to JBrunson. Time to show him the door. We need a Head Coaching staff and Front Office who are willing to develop and have patience with our draft picks.

What, you guys didn’t see him run out there and shove Jalen’s knee into IHart’s?

  7. jjazznola

I really doubt anyone is. The game had just started.

But injuries also happen to this man’s best player over and over and over again. Maybe it’s not just about the minutes but something with how he runs practice too

Yeah Fuck Thibs, Piss-tons and the scriptwriters

We’ve been relatively healthy during Thibs time here. This is a bad year for us in terms of injuries, but he’s not to blame

  11. Facts. It’s such a lazy argument. Dude averages 36mpg. Ever since Rose went down in 2012, fans are always looking for a reason to blame Thibs for a players injury.

  12. BodegaBandit69

it’s happened to all three of the teams he’s been a HC of idk bro

  13. ridingzero

But all in a span of months .. that is some bad random 🥴

  14. cricket9818

Not one injury is soft tissue. All of if it guys playing hard and shit happening. Bone spur elbow. Shoulder dislocation. Sprained ankles. Can’t prevent those things

  15. No-Drawer9926

LaVine, Rose, Brunson… He doesn’t manage his star player’s minutes responsibly. You rather chalk it up to bad luck when there’s a clear pattern?

  16. OhtaniMets99

Except that by thibs running his players into the ground, they’re more likely to get injured

  17. DuckDucks

If it happens in garbage time when he should’ve pulled the guy, sure complain. But brunson in minute 1? That’s just a lazy train of thought

  18. hyborians

That was one of the flukiest injuries you’ll see. 47 seconds into a game

  19. papa8706

With every new injury, Thibs is starting to look a little more like an angry Stevie Griffin.

It’s wild how people are able to PREDICT these random things

this isn’t Thibs fault but it’s bound to happen. it doesn’t matter. he consistently overplays his starters and stars. doesn’t trust his bench and this happens all the time. and it’s why so many of the knicks bench were publicly whining and disgruntled.

can anyone pull up stats for second unit minutes played?
