Yes, I know it’s 2024, and this is random asf to post when we’re winning at a historical level. But I had a random wave of nostalgia looking back at that season, knowing that’s probably the best Rob will ever be. Loved his time here and wish we coulda won him a ring after his procedure in the playoffs.

Agree completely. One of my favorite Celtics. The man was too athletic for his own body.

Dude was a 6’9” Wemby on defense. Still the most underrated passing big I’ve watched.

A man that big wasn’t meant to have springs like that. Such a shame, Ime had found his perfect role as weak side roaming aerial defense squadron.

I loved watching him destroy plays. I just want him to be healthy for a while, and to be used properly again.

If he could stay healthy and develop a midrange game, he’d be one of the leagues top 10 centers. Poor guy is trending into Greg Oden territory

Sky pirate forever, everything he did was fucking sick, just thunderous dunks and spike blocks. Wishing the best for his health in Portland, would love to see him catch lobs from Scoot and Ant in the future

He’s like Mitchell Robinson but way better
Boston don’t reach the finals without him

I hope he’s not a one season wonder. He deserves to have at least 5 years of good basketball.

Guys from 10 feet would take a shot if Rob was under the rim because he could still leap and block it. Absolutely nuts

Time Lord will always be a legend to me. Sadly too great for his body to handle.

Still makes me sad even if we are playing at a historic level. He was such a monster when he was healthy in 2022. Even in that playoff run he wasn’t the same even though he was still playing at the high level but that turn around from starting 26-26 to close that season he went nuts on the defensive end and was a huge reason why we got the 2 seed.

I’ve been a fan since mid 90’s and I honestly can say watching peak rob is the most amped up any celtic has ever made me watching them
