Tough loss and expected, we can’t be shooting like this tho lets move on from it we have (hopefully) have the end of the month to look forward too
Don’t want to rush anyone back from injuries but Brunson absolutely has to play next game. Cannot afford to lose anymore ground in the standings

What I watched tonight
Atlanta played better tonight and cooked us. The rest are just excuses. I am just glad we made it a game and avoided the embarrassment, because by the look of the first half, this could have been a blow out.
Burks is dookie. That’s all.
Can yall for real chill?We are down 4 of 5 starters. Yea sure we may drop to the playins but by then we should have most if not ALL of our guys back. Would it really matter if we play a couple extra games? Who would really want to play us? None of our starters should be tired by then. Chill the fuck out. This is still the best Knicks team I’ve seen in 17 years of Knick fandom.

Don’t give a shit what anyone says, if we had Grimes there it’s a different game. Bogi and Burks have been god fuckin awful, and I don’t see how their roles change when everyone’s back. They’re playing around 20mins (Burks even less thank god), exactly what we traded them for. All I see is Bogi airballing and bricking wide open threes, same looks he’d get if everyone was healthy. One of the worst defenders in the league. Don’t even get me started on Burks.
I liked the fight NYK put up tonight. They didn’t win but they still came back from a 20 point deficit. The lack of available players eventually comes to haunt you when your guys are gassed and the rotations get weird. But man oh man the play from Burks is not inspiring at all I was really hoping he’d be able to channel 2020 Burks.
I get it the knicks are missing everyone, but after the cavs win, game at home, hawks being dreadful, i was expecting more.. guess i was wrong

I don’t understand the rationale of signing Shake Milton to turn around and run a 7 man rotation down 4 starters. Whether he knew plays or not he could not have been worse than the brick layers we had out there tonight.
Orlando’s gonna kill us by 30-40 if we play them like we played ATL today.
Nobody besides Precious played well. Precious being the only person to crash the paint and show consistent initiative played only 23:43, yet Sims played 25:43… How does Thibs explain that?
We need Bogdan and Burks badly, and they are killing us. A combined 11-32 from the field (5-18 from 3) is flat out bad. Can’t be missing that many open shots, be killing the ball movement, and also being defensive liabilities all at once.
Divo, Hart, and McBride are great support pieces, but they aren’t main options. Hart had no legs till the 2nd half, McBride can’t play 40+ minutes every game, and Divo helped get us in a deep hole early tonight.
Considering the Hawks had no Young, even with our injuries, this should’ve been a game we could steal. Instead, they did more than steal the game from us. A waste of a game to be frank.

Friday is a big game
I’ve never seen a Knicks season screwed this bad by injuries. Fans here seem ambivalent about the piling up losses…we’re very quickly going to be on the outside looking in
Trade with detroit was a terrible move
I’m starting to think we got fleeced by Detroit. And I don’t even rate grimes that much
– The Knicks couldn’t rebound or defend tonight. Both are kinda important.
– Hawks shot well and out hustled us on the glass. I miss Mitchell Robinson
– Precious scored 15 in 24 minutes and helped get us back in the game. Why Thibs benched him for most of the fourth remains a mystery…
This Hawks team gave up 124 points to the Brooklyn Nets a few days ago btw. This effort was shameful. I don’t care how many starters were missing. Donte had one of the worst individual performances I’ve seen in a while. Burks is just a basketball terrorist at this point and Bojan isn’t far behind. Josh Hart played tonight with zero confidence or energy. It’s a bad, inexcusable loss, no matter how many guys are missing.
Tough loss but if that’s the price it takes to potentially get Brunson back for this critical upcoming stretch (Orlando, then Philly twice), I’ll take it. At least we didn’t lose to Brooklyn tonight, strong work Philly 💪🏼

There’s not a team in this league that’s going to consistently win games without its three best players. Calm down and ride this out.
