I am so tired of people, saying stuff, suggesting stuff, and doing stuff, simply, because it feels good! This goes, especially for our politicians! I don’t care how good it makes you feel to be generous to millions of undocumented individuals, it has devastating ramifications to the citizens! Tax generated monies are finite, our housing stock is finite. if there’s some magic bag, California politicians have access to, that they can keep reaching into and giving money to everyone else on earth, without sacrificing the needs of its actual citizens, then they should tell us, so we can just stop worrying about it and go back to bed. Stop telling us how broke we are, how we don’t have enough water, how we don’t have enough land, too many cars polluting the air, forest and animals being killed to due to human sprawl, etc. simply let us know about this magic bag of money the politicians have, so us citizens don’t have to feel there’s a need to defend our resources. If there’s enough money for everyone, great! Just let us know so we can relax and go watch Shogun on Hulu. Great show by the way.
