I know it would be for the better (possibly, pending the lottery) and is probably the realistic scenario with Scottie and Poeltl out for a while (if not the rest of the season) but if we really only win 3 games for the rest of the season it will be very depressing lol

3-17 to finish out the season would be wild but I could see it

even if the raps lose that many games, they still only have 45% chance of keeping it.
I think it would be better to forget abt it and just move on. Just focus on development and whatever happens happens.

Catching the Grizzlies is still possible, catching the Blazers is a pipe dream.

Honestly, don’t stress about the positioning in the standings

Someone always jumps up in the lottery. Raps had the 7th best odds when we jumped in to the top 4 to get Scottie. Even if we have 6th best odds, likely scenario is someone jumps up raps still lose the pick. No point in my playing the odds.
Whatever happens happens

That Portland game is pretty winnable from our end. The Brooklyn games shouldn’t be underestimated either. Brooklyn is pretty bad and one is at home.

This is hopeful thinking. Hopium, you might say

you know what. i hope we do keep our pick. given the circumstances. especially in a draft with a lot of question marks. this is masai’s music. i bet he picks a gem to pair alongside scottie.

I’d rather just lose the pick this year this season is a wash with a weak draft. If we end up keeping it….I’d assume this team will be moderately better in a better draft next year take the L now even though we’ll probably be bad a year from now
