I mean rozier has clearly gotten better as he fits into his role, if youre using the stats from the beginning its gonna look worse
Some of his misses still affect the game positively- namely his drives and misses . Forces teams d to converge on him – allowing for bam follows or future drives and kicks . And his D has been great as well . Love scary Terry!
Well it took James Harden a few weeks to get into a groove with the Clippers. So I’m confident Rozier will find his comfy zone with more reps.
Terry has made such a positive impact this is just the untrained eye. Yes, his shooting can be better, but his passing and gravity have opened up a lot for the team
His first couple games felt like he was trying to be too much of a “playmaker”, which is probably what they told him to do. He passed up a lot of great shots to try and pass the ball around. Didn’t look comfortable taking Shots. He has looked a lot better the last few games. Just sucks Herro would take a huge mental dive if we moved him to the 6th spot. I think terry, Duncan, Jimmy, jovic, and Bam are the best line up we put out there. Herro , JJJ, Martin, and highsmith for the second team.
Untrained eye, he’s been a good pickup
I’m not too concerned about his drop off in efficiency since he got here. That’s to be somewhat expected from a scenery and role change, along with the injuries. I will also say that his driving appears more productive than what Lowry was providing which is valuable in its own right.
I will say the one thing I’m concerned about long term is his catch and shoot efficiency, which I think has to be good in order to really thrive with our two best players.
Hopefully finishing at the rim will improve with experience on the team and with Bam, that is my main concern at the moment. His 3 ball is just fine and he is finding the open man on offense which is what we need. Most importantly in my mind is his ability to stay infront of quick guards which help us keep our defensive structure in place way more than with Kyle who was beat very easily and caused a mammoth amount of switching which would end in him covering the center under the rim. I’m happy overall with him as it’s a huge improvement at the position but I do know that he is capable of so much more.
I like what Rozier has done and will only get better with more comfort.
But it is hilarious in the aspect that if Lowry had a 17 game stretch shooting that bad you’d never hear the end of it on this sub despite being better on D and most I tangible stuff than Rozier.
He’s right Terry has been trash
Goran struggled his first year here, so much so that teams valued the Heat 2020 first pick a lot when we one and done team. He later became a fixture for our team and one of the most beloved players in the team history.
It’s clear that this dude spend 30 seconds on bbellref in order to write this article. The offense has been much cleaner largely because of Terry’s playmaking and rim pressure.
What is there to think about? Guy needs time, waste of an article
He’s been getting better with each game still an awesome trade
He might not be intelligent enough for Spo’s master mind games…hopefully he studying plays and not the beach
He doesn’t need to be great, he just needs defenders to not sag off him like they sagged off Lowry.
