Crazy, the Celtics, as shaky as they’ve been all night, were a Tatum 3 from taking a lead in the final minute. But DEN executes too well to miss nine FTs and a befuddling Tatum game. DEN 115, BOS 109. FINAL

Jrue at least woke up down the stretch. Unlike our superstar.

Took an All time Tatum stinker to lose. We shall be fine

Denver shot 20% from 3 lol. The Celtics should be embarrassed they lost

Tatum – maybe top 10, sometimes plays like top 50

Jokic – top 15-25 player ever, never has bad games

The gap was jarring to see it was the 2022 finals all over again

People don’t seem to grasp that if we had made another 4 free throws or another 4 or 5 threes, Denver would have done more as well. They controlled the game tonight.

EDIT: downvote away. this narrative is cope.

You can miss me with that moral victory bullsh*t

Tatum could’ve been more aggressive but JB was cooking so I’m not as worried about his scoring. Biggest issue was not getting JB the ball more down the stretch and KP took a few too many 3s imo. Couple of them kinda killed our momentum

Tatum simply did not match the intensity of that game.

Jaylen absolutely did, as did KP and Jrue.

    Good news and bad news.

    Need more out of White.

It’s always something though. Haven’t beat a real contender since the Timberwolves.

They would have still lost regardless so I’m not sweating that Tatum missed 3 too much. No answer for Jokic. Can just spam he and Murray

Murray also was bad, and Denver hit 4 3s.

Just like the 1st game, both teams weren’t shooting their best…

And the outcome was the same.

I give two shots about historic point differential, this is the true identity of this team until proven otherwise – they do not know how to reliably close out games

Tatum obviously wasn’t good tonight. But can we also acknowledge the defensive attention he had. Even in the midst of a bad game, Denver was doubling him as soon as he began his dribble the entire 2nd half. We always talk about how important Tatum deferring is, well he did that tonight. If guys are hitting their shots he easily could’ve had 12+ assists.

Don’t get me wrong, he was not good tonight. But it gets exaggerated when the team as a whole doesn’t play well.

Denver got the ball in Jokic’s hands lots in the final minutes which almost guaranteed them a basket. I feel we fell short tonight when we desperately needed to score. Tatums missed 3 was like the icing on the cake.

  15. Can not be 1-6 against the elite teams this calendar year. Get it together.
