The New York Knicks defeated the Orlando Magic, 98-74, as they snap a 5-game win streak for Orlando and jump them in the Eastern Conference standings, moving to the 4 seed. Jalen Brunson led New York with 26 points as Josh Hart (19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists) and Precious Achiuwa (15 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, and a career-high 5 blocks) totaled 34 points. Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

New York moves to 37-26 as the Magic move to 37-27.

    This was a bad loss for Orlando. Putting up only 74 points was just unacceptable. This wasn’t a good game. Credit to New York’s defense don’t get me wrong, their defense showed up. We just couldn’t shoot at all. That was the problem. We are beating Indiana on Sunday. That’s a no brainer. #PureMagic 🪄

    Since December 2023, I've been a fan of the New York Knicks & am learning that Brunson is the most highly ranked player of the team.

    Every win is important for the Knicks just to stay out of the play-in. Just gotta hang on for another week or two before guys start to come back.

    Wow I can’t believe we only scored 74 pts. Magic need a true point guard who can’t shoot and dime the other players. This was embarrassing to say but I still feel we can turn the corner

    Thibs might be done experimenting with burks and BOJAN. He limited their mins and our team showed them what happens when we stick to the real knock way, which is defense! Let’s go Knicks 🎉

    Great win for the knicks but the magic had a very bad shooting night from beyond the arc.The Orlando Magic matches up well with the knicks due to Paolo Banchero overall skill and physicality.They are a team knicks should hope to avoid come playoff time.

    As much as I love how Thibs is coaching the Knicks this season, I am not a fan of him when it comes to managing his starters minutes especially in games like this…3 minutes left and Knicks up by 20 and you still have Brunson playing who just got back after a knee contusion…Keep this young man fresh and injury free in the post season, he's the only chance you have if you want to go deep in this years playoffs…

    So we finally beat the Magic, did so with dominant defense, and OG Anunoby probably comes back for at least one of these sixers games coming up. If nothing else, we're at least looking solid for the 4 seed right now.🤞

    Jalen Brunson is like Greg Maddox. Generally right handers need velocity but lefties can get away with being clever. If you don't have speed as a righty you better have amazing control and the ability to capitalize on every advantage you can gain. Maddox did it and Brunson does too. Some folks don't see him as a number 1 option but I think it's just his style of play

    Clyde is such a buffoon…I have to mute the sound and listen to the radio–only if Wally calls the game because he knows basketball. Walter looks up "big" words and tries to impress with his intelligence. It's not that the words are use incorrectly–they just don't fit a basketball game–insidious layup. Most of the listeners don't even know what he's talking about. Therefore he sounds less intelligent. His rhymes are 2nd grade worthy…skating and master bating to the basket. My 8 year old saw his outfit and wanted to know if that man was in the circus. He is soo proud when the camera goes on him during the pre-game. Walter had perhaps the best playoff championship game I have ever seen…I'm a huge Knick fan. I know this an unpopular opinion because of sentimentality but..I can't stand Clyde!!!!!!!!!!!

    Magic fan here. This is why Orlando will lose in the 1st round of playoffs IF they make the playoffs. INCONSISTENT! C'MON! REALLY! WTF?! Losing by twenty against the Knicks?! Paolo is garbage! Only reason his stats where they're at is because he throws up prayer shots. Also because the NBA nowadays lack defense. Paolo against old NBA would have turnover after turnover. His dribbling and driving to the basket is clumsy AF!

    Isaiah Thomas just doesn't cut it as an NBA commentator. He's got no flow. Just too choppy with the odd comments followed by awkward silence.
