Both teams I thought they both ued their their defense as you’re saying to your point and you know we had some good looks because we tried to do with space out a out a little bit especially with nas who who got hot and then had some

Good looks had some open looks I felt just couldn’t knock them down but um and then even though we were getting stopped we were trying to push and play in transition before they could sit which is obviously a very good defense and uh still just struggle to convert Nas made

The seven threes but as a team you guys only had eight whether it’s tonight or for as long as Carl is out where is that three-point production going you think yeah I think like you said I mean you hit it on the head we were one for 19

You take nods out of the game Mike 0 for five and 0 for seven so I mean shoot if uh either of them make one in the regular you know throughout the thing but I think with those guys making taking 12 excuse me and even Jaden one

Time and then it’s fly play back to backs and and you really don’t have a lot of time to recover to uh fill your tank back up follow up on the Rudy technical you said that it was unacceptable part but he was frustrated too he he was obviously frustrated and

And um you know and so it really wasn’t a a shock or a big change for the guys I wasn’t trying to do anything different than what I know finy would do and I think that the more we can stay um with the same Continuum if you will or like

That is the best for us one decision you did have to make I think was putting Nas back in the game with about 3 minutes left that wasn’t part of the standard but as you say I mean he had like 80% of his fre is that that the dominant thing

That was that was the thinking and the other thing too is I mean it goes back to your point Dean about the the and all that type of thing I mean Kyle at at 35 that’s a lot and he was in for a long stretch and and the point that Nas had

It going and just give us another shooter and and you know both those guys I mean they’re great as the backup Force CU Kyle can handle and finish and do different things like that and Nas obviously was had it going tonight in space in the floor and it kind of gave

Them some issues so uh but that was the logic on that one n just talked so much this season about nz’s ability to guard on the perimeter helping to unlock so much of your guys defense um that it’s kind of flash ball moment there and the

Switch on Garland and get in the block there obviously don’t get the result that you wanted out of the game but do that play just kind of Representative of nz’s progression and how have you seen Nas grow I think most definitely I think a lot of times I mean the question with

Nas to the force one he did a great job switching and and and what the the game plan on Garland was if you do get switched up just to press up and make him have to beat you not on the first dribble but make him you know maybe East

West to that second dribble and that’s fine cuz then we can we can help but uh and we just what we didn’t want was too much space where he could shoot get to his step back in that type of thing but Nas has been phenomenal I think uh you

Know there was always questions like you know we always worried about Nas garding on the perimeter you know and now he’s pretty much even when when cat and he are playing together he’s playing predominantly at the four and you’re you’re very very comfortable now with

With switching I think a lot of the time not to get too technical with it but he’s done a lot better jobs of kyp or knowing personnel and sending guys the direction we want them to go and not gambling but again the big thing for them is just to square yourself up when

These bigs get on these Smalls what we don’t want is step back threes or threes and obviously is all the length that we have behind forc them downhill into those tough twos and kind of hit a wall in the second half yeah you know it’s funny at

At at half I thought that um he was struggling a little bit obviously but um we’re all so accustomed that when he has a bad one in the first half that you just wait for him just to explode for for 20 and I think that um or whatever
