Jayson Tatum says ‘I stunk it up’ in Celtics’ win vs. Suns | NBA on ESPN
Jason I know you and Brad are close and he is so proud of just the player that you have become what is it like to play against him in this game uh it’s a dream come true two kids from St Louis uh you know not a lot of people make it out of
There so for him to you know come out first and give me the blueprint and always come back and and be there for me and work out with me and just show me the ropes uh you know I’m forever grateful that’s like you know I always
Say that’s my big brother yeah it’s cool to see they kept coming just what was the difference down the stretch to get this one uh I finally stopped turning the ball over uh I I’m thankful I got some great teammates I stun it up tonight but we just stuck with our
Principles uh you know executed down the stretch and just made the right play you know we draw two kick it open the aisle we trust that we’re going to knock down the shot and defensively you had the match up on KD and it seemed like he was
Making everything uh for a while there just how did you keep him from single-handed L beating you guys I mean it’s tough right just try to make it tough on them contest show different coverages different bodies you know longer guys like myself put somebody
Like Jona um but you the end of the day guys make shots you just want to make it tough and I know that you’re probably your own biggest critic but you had 29 Points 22 points in the second half and yet you said I stunk it up tonight just
How do you how do you stay even keeled uh knowing that you’re the great player that you are but also knowing where you need to improve yeah it’s all about progression right just trying to get better every of of the day having the right intentions knowing that you’re not
Going to be perfect and it’s okay to you know I’m tough on myself right but you got to move on move on to the next play the next game um and that’s what you’re on a team for you got great teammates and coaches that keep you uplifted and
Uh just stay with it keep stinking it up if you’re going to get that every night congrats on the win thank [Applause] is

It’s funny how everyone hop on the hate Tatum bandwagon now lol
29 pts on 28 shots. The main thing that matters is his ability to play great in the 4th quarter. That’s the difference between a great and superstar player.

Dude always stinks in high profile games…. The FO over there in Boston formed him a super team so if he loses again this year it’s time trade him for someone that can win! Or get rid of coach. These coaches all need to thank Mike D and D Morey. They’re all running the same offense just have more talent and that style still hasn’t won 😭
No worries CHOKE SEASON coming the Cs are cursed …. Go Sixers 🎈
Some people will hate on this man no matter what he does. I am not one of those people. Great bounce back win for Jayson and the Cs. Tatum is a budding superstar and a leader. He has had tough moments throughout his career but he will only get better because he went though those moments. Love this kid and I hope he wins his first ring in June.
This is what MVP candidates do bounce back when the doubters go crazy
One point and 3 assists away from a 30 point triple double? He should stink it up more often.
Mvp Tatum
no one even close to that
Tumtum think he best player such cocky dude hshshshahahaha
They can essentially sleep into the ECF , but he needs to be tge man after that
They should be interviewing JB. he's been the best player for the Celtics in this road trip.
Nothing New terrible but team so good they win big shock
Bro score 29 points with 28 FG attempts plus 2 free throws. I still think JT is a great player but I would put Giannis, SGA, Jokic, Luka over him in MVP race maybe next year he might win it but this year. NO
"I stunk it up but KD did his part by losing to us once again"🍻🍺
His MVP case is back on track 😂😂😂
No worries Tatum!! We going forward…whata brotherly love, Jason/Beel
Pleased for this show of humility. I cant imagine he's been having a real good time, this is nice to see.
But, like, national media, JB is the interview.
respectfully, tatum ain't him
Overrated
CRAZY that he's only 19 year old 😂🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂
