@Boston Celtics

I don’t know about you guys but I’ll gladly take the 5-2 over this brutal stretch.

Two tough loses but I’m sure we would all have said 5-2 through this gauntlet ahead of the easy remaining would be great.

Don’t you know that the season was already over after our first loss?

  2. luke_workin

Yeah I predicted 4-3 so anything better than that is nice. Just wish the Denver game wasn’t an L

  3. You’re telling me that the subreddit was being overdramatic and genuinely pathetic by turning on its star player over 2 lost games? Nah no way.

  4. Caesaro320

5-2 with +115 points overall for this stretch of games definitely feels pretty good

  5. JaylenBrownFlow

notice certain losers are no longer active in the sub after a win?

  6. Adventurous-Ad3545

Brutal bruh Hospitalized NYK and Sixers and 4 play in team.

  7. _PercCobain_

5-2 was my realistic expectation for this stretch

  8. COHandCOD

and only lost by one miss basket(nugget one is jt open 3)

  9. CunningKingLius

The way you draw W reminds me of “The celtics are the balls!”

I think everyone should think 5-2 is a good record in those games but it’s also fair to say we probably should have been 6-1 if not 7-0. Having said that anyone whose main takeaway is the worst 5 quarter span of the stretch means that we can’t win a championship is an absolute idiot

The only good teams they went up against they lost….

  12. bootyholebrown69

Yeah we’re done for the reg season now. Just gonna coast to an easy 1st place in the league and get healthy and ready for the playoffs. Let’s fucking go.

  13. JoJonesy

Would’ve been nice to not blow a 20-point lead to the Cavs, but 5-2 in this stretch is about what I expected

  14. PM-15-MrGoatCountry

Celts and Bs winning on the same day makes me happy.

  15. NecessaryPair5

Not that happy tho cause we lose against.600 teams. I’d rather take an L against the Knicks and Bulls.

  16. Full-Flight-5211

Knicks and Philly games aren’t impressive. Knicks have three starters out and Philly’s best player is out. Wouldn’t call that a brutal stretch

  17. Frankieuhfukin

    I genuinely thought maybe 4-3…most likely 3-4.

5-2 with 6-1 an insane 4th away absolutely floors me.

  18. Far-Asparagus6416

5-2 was my prediction but I thought we’d drop tonight’s game and the game against New York

  19. w3bCraw1er

Are you serious? I wouldn’t even consider the 76ers without Embiid and the Knicks with Brunson and D-leaguers as part of a brutal stretch. If those teams were at full strength, I get it. Basically it’s a 3-2, 5 game stretch.

  20. Good record coming out of it but this stretch was not as brutal as it looked since most of the good teams we faced were missing players. Our wins were great but the way we lost the 2 games was ugly.

  21. I am not discouraged – but we can not let our close playoff games come down to Tatum dribbling it out for 20 seconds and taking a fadeaway. We have too many good players to have better options than the Mavs.

  22. monstamayo

Trying to give Mike a breather with the natty broadcast

  23. coacoanutbenjamn

I would have preferred to go 4-3 if one of the wins was against Denver

  24. iAm-Tyson

Really should have been 6-1. I won’t get over that one.

How do we blow a 22 point 4th quarter lead to a g-league team. I mean those guys were cooked, how did that happen.

  25. I’m not worried about the losses, but also not sure that’s really a “brutal stretch.”

  26. DieYuppieScum91

Of course one of those losses was in super frustrating fashion, but 5-2 and coming out with the same 8 game lead that we went in with is a great result for that stretch overall.

  27. ProofSinger3638

? we beat the 5 bad teams and lost to the 2 good ones

  28. solarscopez

Nuggets were the main team I was hoping we’d win against, to me they’re the title favorites until proven otherwise, and it would’ve been huge if we’d shown we were better. Instead we are 0-2 against them.

We might have the best record in the league right now, but we are clearly not the best team in the league.

  29. Taranpreet123

A lot of people expected the 2 losses against the Cavs and nuggets. Sure they didn’t happen the way we expected them too, they happened regardless. But now we have a ridiculously easy stretch left

  30. helt1skelt1

Could easily have been 7-0, but I’m happy irregardless of the record. All I want for the rest of this season, no major injuries and all are healthy going into the playoff.

  31. gorkemguzel32

You’re severely overlooking some key factors.

NYK – Without 2 of 3 best players

    PHI – Without MVP

DAL – Nice win but they’re bad.

    GSW – Great game altogether

CLE – Without offensive and defensive anchors

DEN – Only fully healthy contender and Cs lost.

PHX – Without 2nd best player.

  32. Zeplinex49

And this sub was saying that 5-2 would be a good record for this stretch right before the stretch. I don’t get it man
