For Dallas, Luka Doncic led the way recording his 17th triple double of the season, seventh consecutive, and 73rd of his career with 27 points (six 3PM), 12 rebounds, and 14 assists while aided by Dereck Lively II (22 points, seven rebounds, two steals, two blocks) and Daniel Gafford (20 points, seven rebounds, 9-9 FG) in the victory. Onuralp Bitim finished with 17 points and six rebounds with DeMar DeRozan tallying 13 points for Chicago in the losing effort. Dallas improves to 37-28, while Chicago moves to 31-34 in the loss.

Luka's like 80's MJ so to speak. People were saying MJ's playing style doesn't fit with winning and that's why he's not as good as Bird & Magic, like today's people think Luka's not good at winning like Giannis & Jokic, but none of them were as good as Luka when they were 25 besides 80's MJ, period. When Luka's winning the league will be his. It's up to Luka, but I believe his time will come because tons of players in history not better than Luka were still winning too. Luka's time didn't come yet but will, that's what it is. When Giannis, Jokic and Embiid turn 30 and get older Luka will be dominating, and when Luka turns 30 and gets older then Wemby will be dominating.

I know the Mavs are not winning like some of the other MVP candidates teams, and there are many metrics you can use to gauge their different arguments for and against. But the Mavs would be so bad without Luka, the other teams not so much.
