Celtics could go 82-0 and I’d still take the field over them to make the Finals
Lol so same chance as an 8th seed making the finals
Probably gonna be Sixers this year if Embiid doesn’t have lingering issues from his surgery. They looked unstoppable pre-injury.
This is why I stopped worrying if we get the one seed or not it seems like a trap. Especially if they get matched with Miami
The Celtics are almost unbelievably stacked. I’m not gonna say they should cakewalk their way to a championship (Nuggets exist) but if they don’t win again this year with THIS TEAM, I’m done picking them as one of the favorites to win year after year with nothing to show for it
Thank LeCoast for most of that.
that’s Miami Heat music
because if you (just as arbitrarily) look back 12 seasons, this stat becomes far less sensational. and if you look back 20 years, this ‘stat’ becomes laughable
So Lebronze coasted to the 1st seed and beat nobody on his way to the Finals. Not surprised, sounds like the Leastern conference to me.
We ain’t winning shit aren’t we 😢
No surprises there. ALL teams in the western conference from seeds 2-15 have a better record than their Eastern counterparts at this point, which just shows how much easier it is to win in the East. It’s been like this for years; since 2000 the East has had a winning record over the West only 3 times (and never had a >51% win rate at all in that entire period). We should just do away with conferences altogether at this point, or at least keep the schedule but merge the two conferences’ tables.

Was this the year the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the Finals?
