Now everybody say I pushed off the man was his energy was going that way I didn’t have to push him that way Russell was already stumbling away that hand on his backside was the equivalent of a Mater D showing someone to their Table open Chicago with the lead

  1. Of corse its a push to his momentum, but how to call it ?
Its on a grey area in todays game or a definate foul but back then most not likely a fould but meybe dunno, doesent matter Mj never had a Real oponent in NBA finals! NBA was trash back then

  2. I remember this game and whole season for crying out loud. MJ didn't push off. He patted his behind with enough force to knock over a baby cup. Russell was already shook. Either that or MJ is INCREDIBLY strong. There was know real force behind said "push".

  3. Russell said he had the Blicky and Mike was just checkin to make sure๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. OK……

I'm a huge MJ fan for all of my life….

But to me, this looks like a very intelligent little pushoff to create some extra space to get a wilde open uncontested J.

It's subtle, barely visible, even in slowmotion, but it's there.

Sure Bryon already had momentum in one direction, MJ just made sure that momentum increased to make sure he wasn't even anywhere near him when he pulled up.

No ref would ever call a foul there, at that moment, in that situation, on that man…

  5. He DEFINITELY wasnโ€™t stumbling before that hand was on him๐Ÿคจ, he was going that way but after more energy pushing him that way made it hard to recoverโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆdefinitely a push off and a foul!! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ˜’
