The Detroit Pistons defeated the Toronto Raptors, 113-104. Jalen Duren led the Pistons with 24 points (8-9 FG), a career-high 23 rebounds, and 5 assists as Cade Cunningham added 19 points and 6 assists. Immanuel Quickley totaled 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists for Toronto as Kelly Olynyk added 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists. The Pistons improve to 12-53 as the Raptors move to 23-43.

This the third game of the year where Jalen Duren has totaled 20+ PTS and 20+ REB, giving him the most such games in the league (D. Sabonis and N. Jokic has two each).

With three 20-PTS, 20-REB games for Detroit in his career, he passes Andre Drummond (2 games) for most in franchise history by a player 20 or younger.

Duren totaled his second 20-PTS, 20-REB, 5-AST game of his career tonight, joining John Drew (2x) as the only players in NBA history with multiple games for a player 20 years of age or younger.

  1. Looks like Detroit won't end up with the NBA's worst record this season after all. There's still some hope for this team at least for next season as long as they get another good draft pick. The Pistons won against Toronto again, the same team they overcame to end their 28 game losing streak on December 20th 2023.

  2. The Raptors lost to the Pistons not once but twice. The Detroit Pistons are a laughing stock. The Raps don't deserve to lose to the Detroit Pistons for the 2nd time in a row this season

  3. Congratulations to the Detroit Piss-Ants. They are achieving their maximum potential this week.

  4. As long as the Raps keep their draft pick I dont care what happens. Ja'Kobe Walter or Carlton Carrington would be great fits. Ideally the raps can get Matas Buzelis and Zach Edey

  5. A monster game by Jalen Duren, and good games by Cunningham and Ivey, but still, with this group–way too many turnovers. I mean, it's almost like they were still trying to give the game away at the end of the 4th quarter. But hey, in a year like this, any win is a good win.

  6. Ngl, I’m not even a Pistons fan but I am genuinely glad that they’re winning. 2 game winning streak.

  7. Pistons were never a horrible team… Just got a rough patch… Plus injuries and the vets not really working out. If they build momentum… They will be a team to keep an eye on in the coming years
