We only hit like 5 three’s tonight, Luka missed most of the 4th in a relatively close game

    And we still won

    With defense and paint dominance

Your Dallas Mavericks, ladies and gentlemen

  2. Wooden-Ad1987

Gafford the landlord and PJ are the best trade pick-ups of 2024. WE ARE SO BACK

  3. DirkNowitzkisWife

    Mavericks centers: 46 minutes

    22 points on 13 shots

    14 rebounds

    9 blocks

  4. MindArr0w77

You remember just a couple games ago Kyrie said to calm down stop overreacting well he backed that shit up

  5. gbellsports

3 point shooting games like that used to be automatic losses, nice to be able to win in different ways.

  6. Putrid_Ad_2256

Would’ve loved to see Luka interviewed just to see if Luka would cuss….Broadcast channel would be in deep shit.

  7. It’s Daniel Gafford’s world, we’re just living in it.

  8. friedringdingo

Needed that win, and it’s even sweeter considering we were ice cold shooting wise

  9. Diabolic_Bug_Man

No more small ball bullshit for the rest of the year

I don’t wanna hear it Kidd

Keep doing what you’re doing rn

  10. Ohahmomohway

I’m gonna do Ramadan and fuck up my rec league.

  11. Acreativeusername69

This was a good w, lively and gafford again balled out. Now the next test is going to be against the Thunder tomorrow.

  12. this_is_a_name522

Our center rotation really killed it,no more triple double for luka sadly:(

  13. panda_king77

We have matched last seasons win total.

  14. InternExciting485

Needed win, okc’s gonna want revenge tomorrow so this was great

  15. xPeaWhyTee

Please be ok for tomorrow Luka 🙏🏾

Also lmao Kyrie at that postgame interview.

  16. ttudrums

Solid win when not shooting well, which hasn’t happened much in the past. I’m a big Kidd hater, but definitely giving him credit with the rotations lately + THJs leash is shortening by the day and Maxi playing at the 4.

  17. EastElevator3333

As much as I love Luka’s high scoring insane stat games, it’s nice to see us pull together wins like this where he didn’t have to run himself into the ground to scrape by a close win. Go Mavs!

  18. This was a fantastic win. I understand Warriors were missing dray and curry but we only hit 5 freaking 3s and still managed to win. We don’t win games that way earlier this year.

  19. Regardless of what the stats say, yams, mid range, and drives is way more exciting to watch than jacking up 3s

And I wish Gafford got the post game interview. When did the Mavs last have 7 blocks by a player?

  20. juanopenings

Play 2 good centers over 40 minutes = Mavs W

  21. this_is_a_name522

We gotta keep gaffords record going

  22. papadondon

i know gafford had 7 blocks but lively really set our 2nd half defense tonight. its not everyday your ROOKIE center is trusted on switching against the other team’s guards, specially against cp3. shout out to pj too

  23. OrganicHunt952

Good game, hope Lukas not injured. Stop playing maxi and THJ for the love of god and play some hardy or o max instead of them

  24. amino110

I know the Warriors are playing without Steph but the defensive intensity was insane. The offense was really bad though.

  25. NeolibGood

I rewatched the play Luka got injured on. Doesn’t look serious, nothing happened. It’s definitely non contact. He takes one step and looks down but doesn’t even really limp off the court.

I hate to say it because it feels like bad juju but it reminded me of when people tear their Achilles and they look surprised.

I’m sure it’s not that because he was walking fine off the court. It’s just weird because I didn’t even see a place he could have pulled the hammy.

  26. What happend to luka I didn’t even see him go out

  27. PrinceofEden23

Seem like Josh Green has been taking tips from Kyrie with his finishing. Looking even smoother and better.

  28. lilsaucy32

    – 4 Ws on the bounce. 4 “Take care of business” wins too. Shocked honestly. Really up and down season.

    – We’re winning games while not shooting well. PJ and Gafford are some of the smartest moves this team has made in this century quite frankly lol. Same with Lively. The paint defense is good. POA defense is improving, although the next 2 games will be a real test.

    – Kleber is becoming close to unplayable if he can’t play defense. I think OMax could take half of his minutes and contribute positively defensively and on the boards.

    – I’m still confused why THJ is this bad post trade deadline. We all know he’s up and down, but he was having a really good year imo prior to this month long slump. If he can contribute an efficient 12-18 points on any given game, I like our chances winning any game out there.

    – With Luka resting, pretty sure he’s playing tomorrow. Hope Kyrie does as well. DJJ and Green took some weird falls in that 4th, hope they are both good to go.

    – Onto OKC.

  29. positron3000

LuKai with as many assist as the entire Warriors team. We are unbeatable when we play as a cohesive team.

  30. Accurate-Albatross34

I know we were facing a depleted team, BUT to shoot less that 25% from three and still get the win, that would’ve been a blowout loss a month ago lmao. Happy with the way we played

  31. Putrid_Ad_2256

I kind of hate that the Mavs are playing on TNT tomorrow.  You know Shaq will shit on Gafford if he breaks Wilt’s record.

  32. PJ is a stellar glue guy for us—shades of what Doe-doe was for us. Timmy has to find his mojo again. He was shocking again. If he can be a spark plug scorer again by playoff time, that would be huge. Luka pls be okay. Bigs playing great, they are the perfect fit for what we are trying to do. Ugly one for a little, but winning games against good teams heading into spring is a good sign.

  33. TurebergPirates

We had 13 grown ass man blocks today!

  34. ImHereToFuckAround

historically bad shooting night from 3 still led to a double-digit win; y’all, I **literally** used to pray for times like this

  35. Glass-Lifeguard1919

Luka & Kyrie are the superstars but man these two Dallas centers are fun to watch!

Gaff & Lively combined for 22 points, 14 rebounds, & 9 blocks. That’s the kind of center play the Mavs have been missing for a decade.

  36. Tfoster100

Kyrie if you’re reading this – thank you for calming everyone down. Great leadership and glad you’re here.
