Ben Simmons has his 2nd Back Surgery
Ben Simmons has undergone microscopic partial discectomy to alleviate the nerve impingement in his lower back, Nets say. This is his second back surgery since joining Nets in 2022. https://t.co/5FNFB3ker4

2nd back surgery is some fucked up shit
Trading him is obviously out the question. It’s not gonna happen. Just waive him. Godspeed Ben.
LIKE A PHOENIX FROM THE ASHES
> “…Simmons expected to be ready for training camp after alleviating nerve impingement…”
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Right. Right. Uh-huh. Sure thing.
I genuinely hope he recovers just for his own life. Ben isn’t a terrible dude from what I know. His Nets career has been abysmal, but a 2nd back surgery is for sure headed towards problems in the future.
It’s truly unfortunate because regardless of the whole questionable Trae Young play, healthy Ben Simmons is easily one of the best players in the NBA. It’s a shame we’ll probably never get to watch him do it again wearing a Nets jersey at that level, if not, at all.
Doctor said he needed a backiotomy
I still haven’t seen him play a game since the trade he ever came back?
Can’t wait until he returns to all star next year
Best of luck Ben
It’s ok, get that MVP and ring next year
And people will still say that he quit and just doesn’t want to play basketball
How did Simmons pass the physical when he got traded to the nets?
Bad news. Are there any other cases where an NBA all-star returned to top form after one or multiple back surgeries?
