For Denver, Nikola Jokic led the way with 31 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks while aided by Jamal Murray (15 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals) in the victory. Jeremy Sochan finished with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists with Victor Wembanyama adding 17 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 blocks for San Antonio in the losing effort. Denver improves to 47-20, while San Antonio moves to 14-53 in the loss.
With this victory Denver jumps Oklahoma City to become the 1st seed in the Western Conference.
Victor Wembanyama joins Raef Lafrentz as the only players to tally 200 blocks and 100 3PM in a season, since blocks were officially recorded in 1973-74.

Jokic’s floater is truly one of the prettiest shot in basketball. The way he can increase its elevation almost at will and the touch he has on it just makes it so unstoppable once he gets going and it’s not an easy shot either most players shoot below 50% on floaters Jokic is just a unicorn type of player.
Nuggets are so good. It's going to be very hard to beat this team in a seven game series. I like their chances of repeating as Champions.

It's hard to explain how difficult it is to have Jokers kinetic capacity. It's a feel thing. He practices those arc shots because from a math perspective, more arc and spin make it easier to make a basket, but it's not easy to do. It's alot of touch that isn't easy to teach.
Jokers like the anti Shaq, but can still bang in the paint when needed because he's almost 300 lbs. Dude just has too much. Then you see how he wants to develop a team and a system instead of just iso into score like most heads of a team. Idk how anyone takes this team on in a best of 7 with 4 games at denver.

Jokic has been winning the tap against a lot of taller guys/high flyers. He's so smart the way he gets it on the way up with his fast hands instead of trying to jump for it.

Aside from Wemby the Spurs have no defense. The Spurs have to let a lo of guys go and make some serious moves this draft. I believe this is a very underrated draft. Get rid of Zach Collins and draft Zvonimir Ivisic as center in the second round.
Wembanyama has a tendency to fall into spectator mode by not moving his feet .

Every team is using wemby's lack of experience in the league to win against spurs. But imagine if the spurs have at least 1 veteran and 1 point guard.
