I’m so ready for the offseason and change to come and Wemby to come back even better.

  2. android24601

Well, did you have a good time!? Because that’s all that matters😄

  3. adelphotes

    On track for 29–53

Good to see the Spurs in Austin, great energy despite the loss

    Go Spurs Go!

  4. DriveForFive219

If we threw even a bad lob to wemby 15 times a game like Tre did there at the end when Vic still caught it and scored he would avg 30 easily. And we would be competitive in wayyy more games.

  5. Designer-Action3573

Maybe we can get one on Brooklyn?

    HOLY BEJEEZUS

How can you miss a 7 foot guy so many times near the rim?

  7. VeniceRapture

This roster is 2 years away from being 2 years away

  8. cct41299

Could probably leave most of these guys behind to play in the g league

I’m glad Sochan had a good scoring night, but it ain’t a good sign if he’s the leading scorer.

Once again, I expected to lose by way more, so, all things considered, this loss ain’t so bad.

  10. Can’t wait for the big changes the Spurs will make in the offseason.

It’s like that GSW win has got the rest of the team feeling like they better than they are. Y’all aren’t. PASS TO FUCKIN’ WEMBY!!!!!

  12. The_Guerrilla

The only positive from tonight is that Denver reclaims the no.1 seed from OKC who was probably rooting for us tonight lol.

  13. irenman00

wemby is a volume shooter. i rather see him miss than watch tre jones drains the shotclock dribbling the ball.

they can involve zach collins but not wemby man.

I love TJ Ford’s analysis this game. Even he saw immediately how flawed the team is in getting Wemby some easy buckets.

Tbh, Jones can only be a backup pg for this team. Our PG needs to be someone who can make Wemby’s life easy especially the way teams defend him right now.

You can see how teams can’t double or triple team Jokic because they have Murray.

Vassell really needs to do better defending. He always lose his man when they cut.

Sochan badly needs to improve his interior passing. His only go to move in the paint is to kick outside instead of finding Wemby when he’s open.

Finally, Wemby really needs to learn how to properly operate in the post to take advantage of mismatches.

I can only hope we can become like Denver someday. It honestly feels like light years away… that championship pedigree is something else.

Wemby to have his own version of Murray and Gordon… stuff dreams are made of

Damn, did Vassell really play almost 40 minutes?

Other than that I got nothing, we really need to draft/trade for some new players in the off season. And our existing guys have to get more consistent in their plays.

Can’t spell victory without victor. Would have been nice to get him more involved.

  18. As I’m watching the game, I can’t help but think that we really need a scoring point guard to penetrate and dish out some passes to wemby. We don’t have that yet.

  19. yoyoman831

I think one major thing Wemby and the team needs to help him work on is getting into position way quicker during half-court sets. A good amount of positions every game takes like 10 whole seconds to get him the ball, and then he waits to look for passes first instead of trying to attack and let the passes generate themselves, which leads to shot clock violations or bad shots at the last seconds left for his teammates.

Another thing that shows how young and inexperienced he is, is that a lot of the times he clogs up certain spaces and lanes and make it awkward for his teammates when they try to drive. But because he’s such a unique type of player this’ll probably take another season for him to really understand which spots he likes and where to reposition.

One more thing is that as much as I love his passing skills and instincts, when he is in the block and his driving lane is cut off he almost always looks to pass and half of the time they just aren’t there. I feel like he could just rise up, it’s close enough to the basket for it to not be an inefficient long 2 and no one is blocking him. KD is a master at this, and since he said he’s his favorite player growing up I hope they get a chance to workout sometime during the offseason.

TLDR: This boy is an all star caliber player base on his RAW skillset only! Games like today are frustrating for sure but man am I excited for like year 2/3 Wemby!
