Why do CJ and Willie completely eliminate Zion from the game plan in the second half. CJ just never passes it to him

  2. Ciccone7

6-1 in march. We had 4 20pt scorers tn so who was the real Blazers?

  3. GatorEggs-

AD: hit that anthem early retro

Retro still working on the new intro: HUH?

  4. SpareAd6504

Zion shouldve gone for 40 this game but CJ dont ever pass to him

  5. Took care of business. Whoever thought BI should be defending the 5 as the small ball 5, absolutely cooked. BI looks good doing that in short bursts.

This game is further evidence of how important Herb is to this team

  7. rockmusic83

Great W on the back to back. The stars played well tonight. 15 games over .500. Like AD said – just hit the anthem retro!

  8. Briguy_fieri

I ate a bite of fettuccine and lasagna at lunch today.

    They never stood a chance

  9. Ancient_Access_795

Great win on the back to back. Blazers (Banton) had amazing shot making in the first half but we were able to clamp down on them in the 2nd half. Great bounce back game from CJ as well.

Honestly I think my only real criticism would be having kept CJ and Trey out there in the last minute. Just felt a bit risky when we were up 19. Could have just put in two more bench players to avoid the chance of an injury. Other than that? We were playing our second game in a row after a hell of a game against the Clippers and put up a W with everyone playing a good game. Can nitpick some choices on shots by the players but overall? A great damn game. Let’s see everyone rest up and continue this streak when they hit the road again.

Willie green sucks for not taking out CJ 😤😤😤

  12. sonics_fan

Pels trying to even out their quarter by quarter +/-

  13. chadd1588

CJ just told Jen Hale that Zion asked to not come out the game so he could play the whole third quarter. Our boy is locked in

Important win against a sub .500 team. Defense was shakey in the first half but good to see them clamp down in the second.

Good bounce back game for CJ. I know he’s scapegoated for a lot of the teams problems but he’s a key piece and you’d be hard pressed to find a better 3rd option.

Bench was awesome like always; they brought great energy all game. On to the road trip.

Zion’s had a monster first half. Not sure why he even had to sub in the final 6 minutes, all he did was take one shot and have a turnover but happy he played the entire 3rd. That was a nice curveball by the staff.

BI didn’t score very efficiently but did a lot of other things very well. Kinda like last night against the Clippers.

Trey had an underrated efficient 20/6/5 game.

CJ had a bad stretch early on in the 3rd after having 7 straight points but other than that had an efficient 30 points, even if some of them were in essentially garbage time, and also 8 assists. Don’t know why so many people are holding those few minutes of bad play against him while ignoring the entire game. Did he freeze out Zion a bit in the 2nd half? I guess, but tbh our entire team does that at times. And at least CJ was insanely efficient, 75%TS.

Shoutout to JRE for actually giving some good minutes. Naji also had himself a nice game.

  16. Mesame121489

Herb is the DPOY and you can’t tell me any different. The big 3 played well outside of that 3 minute stretch lol. The refs were fucking horrible on both sides. The Blazers spent the first half hacking Z and we spent the second half hacking Ayton like what the fuck. Also Joel jinxed JV. Pels 15 games about .500.

  17. whitedork83

Nice win. Picked it up there at the end.

  18. Corpus-Animus

With tonight’s win, the worst that the Pels can finish the regular season is .500

  19. weird_veil

Props to JRE and CJ. JRE stood in well for Larry and played solid on both ends of the ball , had a number of timely rebounds and put backs. CJ had a great bounce back game and brought us home in the second half without Z Having to expend much effort. I am happy w Willy for benching cj last night for trey because that’s what that game called for. But for ppl saying CJ should never close, this game is a perfect example of his hot hand carrying us home and giving the others rest. We are a DEEP team and we are at our best when Willie and the team play to whatever is working each night by night ! FLOCK UP

  20. World-Nomad

We’re one win away from last year’s win total!

  21. definitelydidntcheat

4 blocks for B.I. His defensive improvement this season has been awesome to see. Along with his playmaking, of course. Nice win.

  22. P0w3rline24

Time to put together a compilation of calls not made using Joel’s “BOOM! Not a foul” from today’s game, and blast that every time we’re at home from here on out

  23. Wakandaforever456

Pelicans are a huge dark horse to win the west. Zion is showing his MVP potential as of lately.

  24. Aggravating-Lake-717

    4 20 point scorer

    Another double double by Z

CJ with a bounce back 30

    BI with 4 blocks

Quality win against a tough blazers team

  25. SpareAd6504

My bad for blasting CJ. I just wish when Zion got a guard on him in the paint he’d pass it to him, but we did win so maybe I’m tripping
