Can we give some credit to this guy?

The guy just always give 100%. He never asks for any credit during games/season. He had 6 offensive rebounds yesterday and is always willing to guard the #1 option on the other team. Feel like he does a lot and never gets talked about.

This guy should be a lesson to any other free agent out there. If you’re athletic and give effort on D, you’ll get more opportunities here than anywhere else.

We gave him more than credit, he will walk towards a MLE deal next offseason because of the Mavs.

I bloody love the guy! I just hope he doesen’t break his wrist on a dunk one of these days.

Indeed! Mr. offensive rebound, we salute you!

I will be very upset if we don’t resign him

  7. He’s solid. Gives 100% for sure. Another Nico win. But, I feel like he jams his hand on the rim too often though. Posters are great, but I’d hate to lose him because he tries to shatter the glass every time he takes flight. Gonna need him for this playoff run.

He’s quietly been really solid since the trades.

I said this on another thread and I’ll say it again. The dude is an absolute pro. Played his way to the starting lineup in training camp, got demoted after the trade deadline through no fault of his own but never complained and instead played his was back to being a started. I love everything he does. He doesn’t back down from guarding the opposing teams best player, runs the floor and always gives 100% when he’s out there.

  11. I wish JKidd would give him credit and play him in the end of the game instead of Maxi.
I thought he played great. People who don’t watch ball and just look at boxscore know nothing.

He’s definitely getting a big raise at the end of the year from someone and deserves it. We picked up a VERY solid wing/pf for basically the vet min. Which gave us enough space to work out the Washington/Gafford trade. Thank you DJJ. Thank you Nico.

Credit… he has been awesome doing on ball defending and running through screens.

Using DJJ instead of Brickaway is an instant W

Even though Jones Jr is only 6’6″ he jumps higher and moves better than Maxi does . Maxi is 6’10” but plays small because he cant jump.

Jamal Murray went right at Maxi and went over him for a layup and targeted Maxi . He didnt do that when Jones guarded him .
As long as PJ or Exum or Jones havent fouled out I’ll take their defense over Maxi.
