Which team is the MOST OVERLOOKED in the East? The Knicks or the Magic? 🤔 | NBA Today

Who needs more respect in the East I’m going catch youall off guard with this one now it’s the Orlando Magic and I’m going to tell you why we always talk about the Knicks the big Market teams the Lakers the Warriors but the Orlando Magic has just been creeping the whole

Way through they play harder than anybody in the NBA uh we don’t talk about France we don’t talk about Paulo these are this is a team built by a young core they just extended coach Mosley shout out to him he deserves flowers for that he’s got this team

Buying in just think they they rode off uh jayen Suggs as a bus a couple years ago no he’s found him is a key Defender and a key role player this is a guy in a team that is nucleus is all young players that are getting this done and a

Team that’s headed to the playoffs it’s very exciting for Orlando uh got to give them flowers well I’m going to go to the guy the center of all wisdom in the NBA Kendrick Perkins who has been talking about the New York Knicks oh can we F

Him that way now the center of all NBA wisdom uh he’s never wrong uh sometimes one the Knicks the Knicks have won five straight games now they’ve got a very important MRI that OG anobi came back from the west coast to New York to get uh on that elbow that he just had

Surgically repaired and if that MRI shows more damage I reserve the right to be a little worried about the Knicks because when they have OG they’re 15- two when they don’t they’re below 500 but they all have won five straight on the road it was a very impressive

Victory last night um they continue to be rough and tough Mitchell Robinson should be back before the end of the month we’re still waiting on Julius Randall but they’re they’re they’re only going to get better as long as they can can get healthy and look where they are

They’re in fourth with a shot at the second seat still rough and tough is an understatement they the ones that are going to get in your face and make you smell their cologne and whether it’s isaki a barn number nine damage you go smell it and when you think about the

New York Knicks prepare to be in the bar fight right and they’re going to bite ankles they’re going to break fingers they’re going to be look they’re going to be the instigators now whether you retaliate or not that’s on you but you going to find yourself going home with a

Loss when you look at this defense that’s coached by my boy Tom Tibido it is suffocating when you look at guys that come in and plug and replace we talk about McBride in the highlights but look at what he did last night I think he had 29 you know what theck do better

Than anybody else what they do every day you’re talking about somebody blowing a lead coming back from 15 down we just saw a couple of them last night I think there were two teams that came back from 15 down the second half when the Knicks

Get ahead they put the game on Ice yeah they strangle the game and that’s going to matter in the postseason they can do that and I’m glad you brought up that point you know why because of the floor General and Jaylen Bronson it’s so many times you watch him walking the ball up

The floor and then all of a sudden the Knicks getting to their offense with 14 or 13 on the clock and you like what are they doing no they’re playing their style they make you play their style and they’re a dangerous team and just look at what they’ve been holding opponents

To over the last six games what [Applause] I NBA is

  1. Playing g for the KNICKS is way more pressure than Orlando. The KNICKS deserve more respect. And they're doing it missing important players. That checkerboard shirt got him playing hisself.😅

  2. Thx Austin Rivers to choose a small market team (Magic) that is in fact completely underrated/overlooked. Choosing a big market like Knicks looks like a choice to appeal more attention.
Spurs is my team, so I'm neutral here.

  3. It's the Knicks because they have been dragged through the media for the down years and alot of people in the league still hate the Knicks owner Dolan

  4. Knicks are somehow 14 games over .500 after dealing with injuries to 4 starters for the last month and a half. I think its the knicks

  5. Did over rated rivers just say the magic work
The hardest ??? Yeah . No . That’s the Knicks . Magic work hard , but gtfo of here

  6. Both Kings and Warriors fans can't believe they're defeated by an incomplete Knicks, and all they do is blame the ref 🤣

  7. Orlando beat the Knicks this season 3-1 and still don’t get as much coverage. The correct answer is Orlando. But we don’t need nothing, we just winning baby!

  8. The Knicks have SAS as their chief ESPN cheerleader. My Magic never get talked about. Rivers was spittin

  9. Actually it’s the Cavs.. they swept the Warriors… where’s their respect? They have had injuries all season. And still in 3rd place.

  10. The Magic aren’t talked about much but I still think the Knicks are overlooked. The Knicks get talked about often because of being in a larger market but all the analysts and journalists use that as an opportunity to still put teams like the Magic and the Pacers ahead of the Knicks. Ask anyone about the Magic and they’ll tell you Paolo Banchero is better than anybody on the Knicks. I heard Dennis Johnson on NBAtv comparing the two teams and raising the question “can Brunson prove he’s better than Suggs or Cole Anthony” like be fr bro
