Yeah the win is all that matters, not stats, says the man who plays in blowouts to shoot 3s and get rebounds.
This performance should disqualify him from any MVP conversations. MVPs are not allowed to be carried by their teammates to wins. Imagine playing on a team that can carry you to a victory even when you try giving the game away?

I find it amusing Luka has his worse shooting game in years and had a +5 +/- while Kyrie (who had a great game) was -10. Now Luka does do positive stuff even when he’s not scoring (as seen in his 16 assists). But I don’t think anything can make up for 6/27, that’s terrible.
What this is evidence for is +/-, particularly in one game, is a meaningless stat and should never be taken seriously. It’s the source of so many of the worst takes.
I was told that Luka only cares about padding stats!
