He had back spasms in college that caused him to miss games. I remember seeing people complaining that he wasn’t playing hard when getting garbage time minutes – and just the way he was not running very hard def made me think his back might still be bothering him. Was balling in the g league though. Never know with back injuries – he could have more issues with it going forward or maybe he’s fortunate and this clears up his long standing issue for good……

I had that when I had 2 herniated discs in my lower back (L4-L5, L5-S1) depending on the severity he’s going to be out for a pretty good chunk of time. The recovery isn’t a very fast one and much of it requires laying down flat as muscles rebuild and regrow/connect back in the area where the proceeded.
