All jokes aside. Hope JHS has a speedy recovery. Still got hope for him panning out for us.

Didn’t take Whitmore because of health concerns but drafted a guy with back problems at age 20!

Don’t know how serious it is but hopefully it’s not long term. He’s hooping in the Gleague still believe in him.

    Shoulda been cam whitmore 😓

  4. havenstone

The worst draft pick in the history of Laker draft picks, maybe ever

Already having back problems? Bad sign. Hope he gets well soon.

    That’s a lot of words I don’t understand but I’m still angry

Not a good surgery to get that young

  10. Tall_Succotash

Rest up kid! Thank you for putting South Bay on your back!

  11. Pikminious_Thrious

Bro stood up too fast one time when giving out the timeout high fives

  12. I’m just glad we didn’t draft Whitmore, who was apparently an injury risk.

He had back spasms in college that caused him to miss games.
I remember seeing people complaining that he wasn’t playing hard when getting garbage time minutes – and just the way he was not running very hard def made me think his back might still be bothering him. Was balling in the g league though. Never know with back injuries – he could have more issues with it going forward or maybe he’s fortunate and this clears up his long standing issue for good……

We could have had JJJ. Our GM and scouting is dogshit

  15. Emergency-Shirt2208

Meanwhile Jaquez playing 30 minutes, 12 points, 4 boards and 2.5 assists with 48% FG.

  16. This sucks but healthy or not he wasn’t playing this year.

This is so sad to see. So many injuries this season.

Funny how nowhere can you find someone explaining that a lumbar microdiscectomy is a surgery to repair a herniated disc. The team is straight up trying to cover up the fact that JHS has basically the same shit that Ben Simmons has.

Man this comment section is full of clowns, if we ever blow this team up imma look forward to when it’s just the real ones in here.

  20. I read micro vasectomy at first. And my eyes went 👀

  21. discussionandrespect

Cherry on top of a perfect season for my boy

  22. Shame that he couldnt contribute even a little

Lol stop complaining about who we should’ve drafted. Can’t change it so why waist time worrying about it? You guys are acting like warriors fans( little kids). I don’t care if we drafted scoot or Brandon miller, Ham isn’t playing either of them over Taurean Prince. Wishing a speedy recovery for the kid so he can get back to the gym. He’ll prove his worth next season.

  24. BlackJasonTodd

Feel bad for the kid. He’s already extremely & unfairly ridiculed, now back surgery at 20 smh. Hope he bounces back and proves a lot of folks wrong.

  25. Top-Consequence-911

And he’s also been injured multiple times this season before this, despite never playing.

Good thing they didn’t go with Whitmore, though. That knee might become a real issue in 10 years.

  26. If he was having back issues it would make sense why he was having a tough time moving and scoring at the NBA level

    Hoping the issue is resolved

  27. ObviousTruth12

Pelinka knows how to pick em.
    Fire this buffoon.

  28. winter-r0se

our rookie had back surgery? alright man

  29. MaxEhrlich

I had that when I had 2 herniated discs in my lower back (L4-L5, L5-S1) depending on the severity he’s going to be out for a pretty good chunk of time. The recovery isn’t a very fast one and much of it requires laying down flat as muscles rebuild and regrow/connect back in the area where the proceeded.

Man his basketball career is cooked. I hope he can recover well and at least be mobile for day to day activities. A low back surgery in your early 20s is unfortunate.
