Did a little follow up research to satisfy curiosity: The Warriors have played 480 total minutes so far in March. 245 of those 480 minutes have included *at least* 2 of CP, Steph, GPII, or Podz on the court. 🫠
Pretty much expected. Dray is 6-6 as a starting Center. Kerr loves GP, Podz, CP and Steph combos.

Steve or Kenny or whoever it is calling sub patterns that’s infatuated with micro ball needs a fan-controlled shock collar for every trine the coaches try to roll out more than 2 of Steph, Podz, CP3 or GP2.
They legitimately tried to matchup GP2 on JJJ yesterday on multiple defensive possessions including OOB / set possessions. It’s getting wild.
Even though he hasn’t blown up and / or been much of a factor at all for MIN I still wonder if the Warriors would have benefitted from selecting Leonard Miller instead of Podz. I have come around on Podz but I still feel like this objective data very much aligns with my sense that the Warriors need to get bigger, longer and more athletic without sacrificing skill, particularly as the core ages. No doubt it’s a tall task (no pun intended) but something as simple as making sure one of JK or Wiggs is always on the court and leaning into playing both of them alongside combinations of Dray / TJD, Klay / MM and a single primary ball handler (Steph or CP3, not both) would be a viable solution to this issue that has had some promising result in small sample sizes this year.
Even our actually centers are considered “small” compared to other teams. It is what it is until mdj can work his magic in the off-season

Because Kerr is obsessed. We look so underpowered anytime we play with a big team (Denver).
This is why I hate Podz for this team, people call me a hater but I have never said the guy is bad, I just think he doesn’t fit the team enough to get all this minutes.
I don’t give a shit about his plus minus, we have Steph and CP3, we are overall small, he’s too short and hurts our defense.

People want height for heights sake but some of our best rebounders are 6’3”, we play much larger than we are
