Major clock issue in NBA game! What happened in Kings-Magic?!
Morgan one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever seen in the NBA game happen just the other day and no one noticed it yeah well except I guess somebody finally one person on NBA Reddit noticed it not players coaches or the scorers table there is an extra 50 seconds in
This game I want to play it for you Morgan because this is insane it’s Kings magic 6563 note the time on the clock 8:15 in the game in the third quarter 12 seconds on the shot clock it stays that way for multiple possessions usually an official will notice right away stop it
Let’s adjust it well even the scores table or the broadcast not noticing too no one broadcasters didn’t notice I mean if you’re calling that game you might look down and go the clock’s at 8:15 I would notice it but I guess if I guess if you were may be doing the broadcast
Too you could just think it’s a glitch on the TV screen at home you look up look at the big screen above you or the shot clock it goes on and on we’re talking about multiple possessions and I went back and confirmed it on NBA play-by-play data yeah sure enough there
Are multiple possessions noted at 8:15 in the third quarter it’s not until this possession right here Morgan that it’s finally noticed it’s after this second chance opportunity for the Orlando Magic that oh we’re back in action oh so it wasn’t even somebody else it wasn’t it
Didn’t have to be an official it didn’t have to be anyone else it was someone at the scores table going oh I woke up look we got we have a game going on oh I’m honestly like stunned by this because it did add to this game for sure
100% And like we just went over all the layers there wasn’t a producer on the television broadcast on either Orlando or Sacramento who notices play byplay the analyst that’s one Area players coaches officials scorers table how did one notice this I don’t know but now we’ll always remember the season that the

The broadcast commented on it at some point, I think. This has been happening a lot lately actually, it's sus.
Okay the clock is supposed to stop after every made basket and there were two made shots. There's no way the clock operator himself/herself forgot to stop and restart the clock, twice. Right?? Also, the shot clock did reset, which has to be done manually when they see a change of possession etc. So maybe on the clock operator's computer he was indeed starting and stopping it, but the arena clocks malfunctioned? But then if the clock operator's clock was indeed moving then the arena clocks should have corrected by 50 seconds instead of restarting at 8:14. Hmmm, still doesn't add up, Deuce and Mo I think we need further investigation. Also, does the league know this?? Did you report it? I need more details haha.
