Did Shaq ever give Dwight some credit for at least helping neutralize Joker in 20′?

C’mon Shaq, you really think that comment is what upset Dwight? Shaq is a dumb, egotistical, petty man. This hate with specific players, specifically bigs, continuining up to this point is pathetic.

its not unnecessary in the NBA your legacy is EVERYTHING after you retire and even while you’re playing you need to be aware of it

Shaq can run his mouth on Dwight all he wants because he has the better legacy and the rings

I dont care how much anyone tries to pretend that doesnt mater GTFOH if Shaq qasnt a 3 times FMVP I wouldnt still give a fuck about him 20 years later. I never even watched him play live as a Laker ive been watching NBA since 2011 but ive seen EVERY Shaq playoff game now (magic and lakers). He was THAT damn special

And when you have friends and random people that will literally go all out to praise and help you out of respect for your accomplishments that means a hell of a lot in life that respect is just as important as money sometimes.

So yeah Shaq CAN run his mouth all he wants bottom line

Dwight has credibility over some people but Shaq isnt one of them

Shaq was a great basketball player, but some of the things he’s said make me think he’s not very intelligent. Nothing like Pau, nowhere near Kobe. I continue to lose respect for him.

Shaq just can’t resist stirring the pot!

The truth is shaq isn’t great at opinionated media platforms. He’s the one always bringing Dwight up or talking about what Dwight isn’t. In fairness he gets asked about it a lot but call him a great player, say you never had a real relationship with him and move on.

  8. couchtomato62

Shaq said a lot more than that. He never let it go

  9. Illustrious_Novel305

Shaq is really too old to be this sensitive I’m convinced D12 lives rent free in his head.

  10. geogerf27

He never forgave Dwight for donning the Superman Cape. He was supposed to be the one and only man o’ steel

  11. bigball3r23

Old generation of hoopers egos r so fragile lmao. Can’t talk about players after them without saying or implying they were better n discrediting whenever possible. Shit looks desperate every single time one of them does this

  12. drakethesnake94

Shaq is the king of refusing to let things go

  13. Outside_Energy_8105

Shaq was great, arguably the most dominant big of all time, but he did himself a disservice by going at Dwight as hard as he did. Dwight was kind of the last back to basket dominant big we’ll ever see given how the game is played today.

it’s reasonable assume there is some bitterness there as allstar bigs now, don’t seek out Shaqs advice because the skill sets are different.

Honestly Dwight Howard still ain’t address that lawsuit and Im not sure why him being gay or a failure in the nba is talked about more than the fact he (allegedly) tried to force a tranny to get trained

  15. xJamesio

Built like a brick shithouse but somehow the most sensitive person on the planet

  16. GiveMeShadePls

Dwight is an asshole that intentionally tries to injure dudes, he’ll get no sympathy from me

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if Shaq actually likes Dwight, but is it just keeping up this shtick cause he sees that a bunch of people find it funny and eat it up. I say this cause if you follow Shaq on instagram, you would see that he mainly posts random stuff on his story, and some of it are posts praising Dwight. And in a podcast a few years ago, he basically implied that no one runs his account, so it’s him that’s in charge of what he posts.

Anyone who followed him during his playing career, or his commentary career on tnt, you can see he is insecure. Shaq wanted to be the best, but mostly because he wanted acknowledgement from everyone else. There aren’t many stories about Shaq working with people to actually help them, or really offering advice rather than just vague “be better” kind of crap.

Contrast that with Kobe, who also had an ego, but he wanted to be the best to be the best. It wasn’t about acknowledgement as much as Shaq’s was, it was about exerting his will. There are tons of stories about Kobe working with guys and giving actual advice. Kobe wanted to be as good as he could, but also wanted to share with the others because their greatness did not offend his own greatness.

I don’t think Shaq sees that, others greatness offends his own.

What does Dwight’s blue hat emoji response mean?

  20. Shaq is a certified hater, I don’t know who told him that he is the judge of nba bigs, every time a Centre shines, Shaq hate on him for no reason but insecurity.

Shaq might like Dwight shaq might be a lil nasty
