Jamal Crawford says T-wolves need a dominant perimeter scorer next to Ant for a real chance at playoffs success

He further says Jaden McDaniels can be that guy if he locks in more on the offensive end. Jamal also believes a matchup against Lakers first round can get tricky for Minnesota.

He’s not really wrong. KAT struggles to create his own shot and has a history of poor clutch decision-making. Gobert is great in a 2-5 action but teams will likely prefer to foul and watch him shoot free-throws. This team’s terrible in the clutch as recent stats have shown and hopefully Jaden’s recent stretch can fill that hole.

I think there’s room for someone like Jaden or Naz to get moved here, especially with NAW’s rise. As far as teams that’d be looking to pick them up, Charlotte with convicted domestic assaulter Bridges might be on the cards – as much as I hate that he’s still in the league. At a stretch maybe Monk is gettable in a sign-and-trade?

I agree with him that we need another perimeter scorer next to Ant but I don’t think the Lakers are a tricky matchup at all

Hali and ANT would he my dream pairing. They already have a bromance and it’s not unfeasible he could force a trade here if things don’t work out in Indiana or we could recruit him when his Indiana contract is up.
