  1. The hardest pic in the 2020 championship celebration.

Playoff Rondo was a beautiful thing to witness.

No more Rondo dimes on the court! The basketball world will miss his flashy passes and basketball IQ.

Will always love him for his years here and stepping up when it mattered the most. Besides Rondo and LBJ, no one came close to feeding AD the ball effortlessly, IMO.

Playoff Rondo was really something else in that 2020 title run tho, esp with that one game vs denver when he sparked a run early in the 4th but fell short. His steals that game vs Murray were insane.

Him and LBJ’s bball IQ were key in that Miami series. Definitely one of the best PGs of all time

In 2008, if you told me as a kid, Rondo would win the Finals with Lebron and Dwight Howard with the Lakers, I would’ve thought you were crazy. Happy for Rondo well deserved. 👑

May we keep Chris Paul ringless in your honor.

  7. That kid was actually D’Angelo Russell, feel old yet?

Really cool legacy of being a key part of championship runs with both Boston and LA.

Also, very smart and tough player. High IQ, great defender, even better in the playoffs and at big moments.

Made the most of his unusually large hands with brilliant fakes and palms.

There was even a small window (after the first ring), where he was Boston’s best player. Had really unique stat lines.

Cemented his legacy on the Lakers. He was incredibly important in 2020.

    Will make a great coach.

  9. Congrats rondo.

Anyone else think it’s funny when players outside of the best of the best retire and it feels like they’re the last ones that knew it.

Every time it’s like “oh damn I thought he retired like 4 years ago.”

He’s only retiring as a player, the guy has to coach at some point. Would be nice if we could bring him in as an assistant before some other team scoops him up before us

I hope Boston retires his jersey just so that a Laker who hit a game winner in that building will forever be hanging over them.

Thank you Rondo for your essential contributions on our 2020 championship run!

Is Rondo a hofer? Also curious how many players have won titles with the lakers and the celtics.

Playoff Rondo in 2020 was our 3rd best player by a mile. He turned that Laker team into borderline unstoppable. His defense and playmaking were out of this world. Salute Rondo hope to see you as an assistant coach next year. I remember that quote he said that “If me and Bron are on the same team no one can beat us 4 out of 7 times” and that was true

I wonder if he’d be interested in coaching
