Situation by decreasing Pascal’s value by consistently hinting at a possible trade consistently hinting at the fact that they don’t really want it to be part of this team’s future and based on the way he’s been used this season on court where he has definitely not been

The priority for this team in any shape whatsoever and sure Scotty Barn can be the priority but Pascal seak as good as he is if you want to win basketball games should have had a lot more looks on the court so was everything making it apparent the Raptors did wanted no part

Of shakum the value decreased to the player if they really wanted to trade him they should have kept tight lipped in the summer moved them in the summer instead they take a cut price deal for cakam which I said in yesterday’s video if they want to trade cakam it’s like

Way are going to have to find the right pieces to Tiner this roster to Tinker this team and perhaps get maybe even more as we get closer and closer to that 2024 trade deadline in February here but despite this given the situation three first round picks salary filling players

Deal but you look at the Pacers and what they had to give up here you you you have to expect that there’s some sort of desire in place they were able to feel him out maybe a handshake maybe a winky wink agreement between cakma and the

Pacers that cakma is going to stay with that team long term he’s going to sign his max extension there the Pacers have his bird rights they can give him a big contract perhaps they they can afford to do so with a bit of extra cap space they

Can free up in the summer you’d have to feel as though there’s optimism on the Pacers perspective that he can sign but it’s absolutely not going to be a guarantee and he’s made it pretty clear publicly Pascal that he has no intentions to resign with whoever he’s

Traded to and he kind of wants to test agency so from that perspective three first round picks coming from the Pacers I know they’re not great first round picks three first round picks for possibly a rental player in a year in which like the Pacers look better now

They look better the defense has improved the offense has improved dramatically on this team they didn’t lose any key pieces really and got dramatic ically better on offense with Pascal seagen coming to the team but does that Vault him up to where the Sixers are does that Vault him up to

Where the the Bucks are it definitely doesn’t Vault them up to where the Celtics are so as far as his trade is concerned they’ve really splashed for a rental player maybe not a rental but for now a rental player and they still aren’t one of the best in the Eastern

Conference and to me looking at the trade for the Pacers I don’t really like it for them either so if you absolutely made me pick who won this trade I’d probably have to go with the Raptors though I don’t think this is a stupendous return for the Raptors I’m

Just not sure it really made sense for the Pacers to go and do this right now I guess they really wanted to see what they had for the rest of season really give some help to Tyrese halber for the rest of the season and hey they maybe

Lottery and all of a sudden they have their own first round pick to use this season a lot of that can factor in here but what’s nice and what’s refreshing as much as the deal is kind of me what’s refreshing is we have an understanding of what the direction of this team and
