First time poster on here; general NBA fan who’s partial to what’s going on in Memphis.
I had Chuck of the Chucking Darts podcast on my show this week and he waxed lyrical about Vince Williams Jr as a guy who’s reputation could go through the roof next year. Is their another Grizzly on the roster that you could see receiving a bigger bump in his stock?
We also discussed Deni Avdija, a guy I love as a potential Memphis trade target over the summer to potentially close as the 4 man in a unit with JJJ at the 5. Apologies for the self promotion but let me know your thoughts!

Vince is probably the most correct answer to this question, but relative to current general league consensus, I think Jaren is really gonna surprise people next year.
If all you’re doing is bbref watching, you’d think this season has been a disappointment from him – but his offensive game has improved so much. And about once every 5 or 6 games we get a game where he just looks unstoppable. All this while keeping us around a top 10 defense throughout this nightmare of a season and remaining one of the leagues best individual defenders.
All this is while being treated as the first option on offense. What’s his game gonna look like next year where he’s the third option and the other team can’t just double him if he gets cooking? Exciting times.
