Cavs have a first round pick, would you want them to waste the pick on bronny and then sign lebron because he wants to play with his son? Males you think cuz if lebron can play like he did this season next we have a legit shot
USC Trojans freshman guard Bronny James will enter the 2024 NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility and will also enter the transfer portal, he said on Instagram Friday. pic.twitter.com/uZlqrfQPvb

Yes.
If you were ever gonna waste a first on bronny this year would be the year to do just that. Since this draft class isn’t supposed to be good outside the top picks. The more I think about it the more I talk myself into them doing it. Question is would Dan do it since he Hates lebron
… I need clarity. How does one enter the draft but keep college eligibility? And enter the portal? He’s doing a whole lot and I’m not seeing how it’s all possible
Honestly, Im over the James experience. There is no way Gilbert drafts him to go through that entire charade again but it would be cool if LeBron did his ‘farewell tour’ in Cleveland depsite him saying 100x he wants to retire a Laker.
If it comes with Leviton get him because then Donovan will stay.
Absolutely not. Bronny is not good at all, a 2nd round pick would be better. But he should really just stay in college and go to a school that will play him more
Great move. He can at least feel out teams, see where he’s at, and then go back to college. It’d be stupid to not do this.
Not sure if going to the league makes sense. But doing this and going back to college is a smart decision.
Lebron and Mitchell both need the ball and you still have DG. Lebron is also a defensive liability. I’d pass
I’m a little confused… I thought the whole premise was if/once you commit to the NBA draft, you lose you college eligibility. I understand he’s testing his market and I think that’s smart! Find out who does and doesn’t want you. But How is he able to enter the transfer portal and declare at the same time? Can anyone show me to the list of rules that states he allowed to do so?
Definitely staying in college but wants to feel out the market. Smart move. 1000000% would use a FRP to get LeBron back
For those who don’t know, basketball rules allow you to declare for the draft but keep your eligibility if you aren’t drafted as long as you don’t have an agent. IMO this is something the NFL and CFB should adopt especially in the age of NIL. Sucks to be someone who declares for the NFL draft, go undrafted, and then not be able to return to college if you had eligibility still.
New York has their own pick and Dallas’s pick along with Utah’s 2nd. They are in better position to either take Bronny where they stand or trade up to get him to lure LeBron. They’ve also got Randle to ship back out in a sign-and-trade for LeBron, which is much more interesting to LA than some combination of the salaries of LeVert/Strus/Niang/Okoro.
Getting LBJ with our 1st round pick again would be wild
It would absolutely be worth it, LBJ with the rest of this core (minus whoever we trade to make room for LBJ) is a championship roster
Might be the first draft pick in sports history to only be selected because of who his dad is. I can definitely see him going in the first round just because of that.
In my completely unbiased option. He should return to his birthplace and play for the Zips.
