At the same time the point of this take is to compare the two and their ceilings and that starts with their age because Shay is almost 26 years old I think it’s fair to say that who he is today is pretty roughly his Peak as a player jdb

Nah I disagree totally Shai is still improving and jdub is good but not Shai level good I don’t see him getting as good as Shai is now but he is a great player non the less I do think that jdub has a better defensive game

Defensively I think sga is better defender but j dub give the most effort
As a thunder I understand this take dub is a great offensive player and the offense gets better without Shai but the defense does collapse without Shai and dub isn’t as good of a ball handler as Shai meaning that when teams double him he will not be the same player he is right now because Shai Needs so much attention and honestly so does Chet witch leaves giddey open and most of the time dub is also open that’s why he’s so efficient but I will say that dubs gonna be a top 10 nba player in 2 years but he isn’t sga
