We covered the bigs tonight and the negative attention on Dayron by some of the panel and Interim coach Ollie is questionable.
Besides Cam Thomas Dayron Sharpe has grown tremendously this season to where he became one of the top offensive rebounders in the NBA and overall top 3 in rebounding in the league. He also has had career highs in scoring assists and blocking 🔥…..
If Dayron is somehow traded this summer Brooklyn will be left with Claxton and Clowney who identify more as power forwards. So Brooklyn wouldn't actually have a traditional center or even a backup center which would CRATER their rebounding numbers drastically…..
Now when it comes to Claxton, as long as Ben Simmons unnecessary $40 million is on the books, Brooklyn again wouldn't have the ability to make important upgrades in the off-season and would likely have to resign pieces mainly Claxton.
However if Claxton is making around $80 million with incentives, Brooklyn will likely want to move Claxton to power forward if they finally can get a more traditional center to handle the big men center matchups….
But Claxton at power forward would need to offensively produce at that point or Brooklyn management will have to make an executive decision and trade him for a bigger upgrade down the line….
DJ's point about trading Claxton for something if Brooklyn doesn't want to pay him such as draft picks and a solid role player isn't a worse alternative either because more than likely Claxton will be traded at some point no matter if he stays or goes…..
Now to BK. We understand you are super excited about Noah Clowney's potential on this team and tonight he had his FIRST breakout game dropping 20 points, playing some solid defense and rebounding the ball well…
But the point is he's only 19 years old 😂!!!!
He has lots of time to work a lot on his defense which is still raw. It's great that he's shooting 3s but to Harlem's point he needs to develop his interior offensive game to become a complete player on offense and not rely on the shooting threes….
Most importantly Clowney needs to bulk up on muscle because even though he identifies more as a power forward, if he gets stronger and more agile, he could be a multi versatile big at both center and power forward…..
So don't try to rush him BK when Clowney has time on his side to grow his game 😁….
To the Donovan Mitchell stuff look what's happening to the Cavs against the Suns. They got crushed by the Nuggets and now the Suns…
Mitchell isn't 100% due to his knee soreness but his supposed top supporting players Garland Allen and especially Mobley aren't doing much to support him either…
When Donovan was fully healthy this year the Cavs were playing elite basketball. But without him, the Cavs have lost a lot of games and they aren't showing they can be championship contenders against Western Conference top competition….
Harlem made a great point that Mobley and even Garland who are homegrown talent haven't developed like they should be on a year by year basis and ultimately Mitchell never had the Cavs as the team that he wants to represent as the franchise guy….
They aren't championship contenders and ultimately Donovan Mitchell is a NY guy and if he doesn't sign an extension he will likely want to go play at home….
If Mitchell is on this team with Bridges Claxton and Thomas, all of their games will get elevated playing alongside Mitchell because when he's healthy he's one of the best scorers in the league….

First of all, how does anyone know it's going to be the same team, can you predict the future, have you been in the team meetings? You don't know that, no one does.
nobody ever said he couldn’t draft the point was he has failed too many times with a bunch of talent on the team but never gets the right players to fit that talent Sean Marks had a big 3 and didn’t add size or depth to are roster when it was just KD and Kyrie he didn’t add wings or bigs it took KD to post on Twitter and to go directly to Sean marks and asked for wings
Marks grabs talent from the draft but don’t make it seem like KD, harden And kyrie wanted to play for marks Kyrie had ties here he always wanted to be a net kd wanted to play with kyrie so he joined the nets they liked the roster we had nobody ever said they wanted to play for Marks him and sai gotta go you don’t let a big 3 go for roleplayers and way down the line draft picks then turn around and decline all the best deals because you want to make it personal he didn’t listen to Kevin Durant or kyrie notice how most of the that roster didn’t like Sean marks and KD had enough and called for his job obviously they knew marks don’t know ball 😂
