@Boston Celtics

Who else feels like we’re going see these guys yet again in the playoffs? One in the first round and the other in the conference finals.

With a week left in the regular season, the Heat the Sixers are in the 7th and 8th spots, shaped up for a hell of a play in game. With an opportunity to avoid the Boston Celtics in the first round.

Now since anything can happen in one game, there’s a solid chance one of these teams misses out of the playoffs entirely with Chicago or Atlanta stealing their spot. But I’m still predicting both of these teams makes it through.

And with that gives us an insane first round matchup. Either the Miami Heat, or the Embiid 76ers. Everyone here should feel confident going against anyone in the East, but we also have to acknowledge how crazy a first round matchup could be with these teams.

But I also truly believe whoever grabs the 7th spot, makes it to the conference finals. Maybe I’m giving up on the Bucks too early, but I personally am favoring these teams to get past them and ultimately reach the ECF.

Almost a guaranteed…unless they wet the bed in the play in. Indiana needs 2 wins to lock up 6 seed

I feel like Atlanta could run an upset on game 2 against Miami

I just want to play some new teams. We’ve been playing Philly, Toronto, Milwaukee, and Miami for 5 years now. I’m bored. Someone give me New York, Orlando, Cleveland (the new version), or even the new look pacers. I just want something different.

  4. Man, FUCK both of these teams. I think this Celtics team (assuming health) is actually much better than in years past when they took us to 7 or even beat us. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong, but for now, neither team makes me bat an eye 🥱

I’d be happy to play Miami , They’re not good at all , Philly is tough tho , at some point you know embiid might figure it out come may

I honestly think Miami will lose out in the playoffs-in. They’ll lose to Philly then to Chicago. The team is fairly weak this year and Butler is showing his age

With the way Doc is coaching and how close Philly came to beating us last year despite that, having Nick Nurse at the helm scares me way more than the heat in general

  8. I’m just here to say what Jimmy Butler did on season photo day is one of the funniest things I’ve seen an NBA player do in my 35 years of watching the NBA. I legit chuckle every time they show his pic for starting lineups or what not.

They all stink. I hope the league passes a rule to let the bucks, heat, and Philly combine forces so we can eliminate all those bums in one series

I will always believe the Celtics would have beat Miami if they played in the first round last year instead of ECF, would’ve probably gone 6 games like the Hawks series did. They’re a team that keeps consistency no matter who’s injured and who’s playing while as other teams wear down from the battles of the playoffs.

I don’t think either of these teams are making the conference finals. Philly doesn’t have the depth or the runway with Embiid to get back in form and Miami is borderline bad this year. Butler looks worse and they’re too small

Honestly, kind of rooting for Sixers to finally make it out the second round, only for them to fail to get past their remaining roadblock: the Celtics

Neither one of these teams concerns me in the least. The Heat and the Sixers? I’m looking forward to beating the both of them in 9 games combined. They can each fight over whoever gets the gentleman’s sweep.

Agree, but I don’t want anything to do with Indiana because Aaron Nesmith is likely to accidentally injure at least one of our players.

  15. I don’t think either of these teams can make it to the ECF, but then again, 2 teams have to make it lol. The East is shit rn haha

Hot take: what if we don’t? We see some combination of Atlanta, Indy, Kicks, Cavs. It could happen, I think the east is much more open after us than it’s been in a while. And if we win that way, do the haters still throw shade on us and try and put an asterisk on our chip?

  17. We will dominate anyone in the east as long as they don’t injure our guys with “physicality”

  18. Hopefulmisery

That’s feels like a foregone conclusion.

  19. Knicks are the 2nd best team in the East, hands down, and can beat every other team except us, so we’re definitely facing them at some point.

It would be very good for the mental status of our team to get Miami round one. I’ve watched them close last year and this year, even their deepest fans will admit they just are off this year. If We get them round 1 it shouldn’t be more than a 5 game series. We got better since last year and they got worse. They just don’t matchup well. Moving on from that one will do the same confidence building that beating Brooklyn did when we went on that run in 2022.

With the 6ers I’m worried, super worried. Embiid looks fresh and healthy. Yeah I know The narrative is that we own them but you know drives them crazy and they’re going to play with that prove it factor because they’re tired of it. Also Nurse is just a way better coach than Doc and they have enough pieces to make it an interesting 6-7 game back and forth battle. I want nothing to do with that series. If Embiid doesn’t go down that is the 2 seed in the east and probably a top 5 team overall.

We won’t see them in the conference finals, but most likely one of these in the first round
