That pass perception number is laughable for anyone who has seen him this year.

2K doesn’t care about any players that aren’t in the media 24/7

2K doesn’t care about anything if it doesn’t involve microtransactions and hogging memory space on your console for the stupid city

2K in general is a joke when it comes to ratings, especially in NBA and EAFC

They also have Knicks as a “tier 2” team behind teams like the Cavs and Warriors.

They have guys like Markkanen and Mobley ranked higher than Randle.

2ks rating system overall is a joke. unless youre a name brand player they dont care, and even if you are, theres no basis as to what determines a guys rating. also, maybe its me, kinda miss the days when an overall actually reflected a player — youd see an 85 overall and think “oh man this guys the real deal” now you look at an 85 and think “why the fuck is kyle kuzma an 85”

    I’m more mad that:

*Mcbride doesn’t have a single shooting badge

*OG’s steal rating is in the 50s I think

J Hart has a gd strap on 2k tho.

Haven’t played 2K in years, but kinda weird DREB isn’t considered a defensive stat.

From a glance, that might sound stupid, but it’s traditionally considered so. You end, permanently, the offensive possession when a DREB is secured. When you think of somebody like Jokic, there’s some validity in considering him a league-average defensive center since he secures DREB so effectively.

I go in and edit everyone on the Knicks to fit their current play style and skills. For example,  Bojan has one of the highest perimeter defense on the team. So I went in and lowered that shit.

Good thing the game is ass and has no validity
